First of all, let me say sorry for the lack of updates this week. I've gone into full site
design mode here for this place and for another couple project that I am working on for other
folks.
And on that note I will also be heading out of town early this weekend for a long weekend in
Austin for the Austin City Limits music festival.

The US National team have an all-important World Cup Qualifier against El Salvador on Saturday
night, and Jeff Carlisle of ESPN SoccerNet has a preview of what lies ahead.
The U.S. hasn't lost a home qualifier since Sept. 1, 2001, when it fell to Honduras 3-2. Since
then, the Americans have gone 16-0-1 at home, the lone blemish being a 1-1 semifinal round tie
versus Jamaica during the 2006 campaign that occurred after passage to the final stage had been
secured. Click to continue reading...
I've had this post in mind for a while now and it doesn't cast certain parts of the Rapids
organization in the best light. This isn't to say that the Rapids Front Office isn't doing a good
job most of the time, and I've had great interactions when I've dealt with them. I do want to point
out where the organization needs to improve though, and I ask that you read it all and keep that
point in mind.

With J Hutcherson -- Tonight at Giants Stadium, Jamaica gets the CONCACAF slot in an international
friendly doubleheader, the odd man out treatment for a team that should be factoring in the
Hexagonal round of World Cup Qualifying. Instead, Jamaica is rebuilding. There's a point that
Trinidad & Tobago are doing the same thing as they play through the final round of qualifying.

one of the stingiest defenses in the league, but netted just one selection to the postseason
W-League Eastern All-Conference team. The honors were voted on by the coaches and managers of the
