The first bit of significant injury news of the season was confirmed by D.C. United yesterday when the club announced that defender Chris Korb had an arthroscopic procedure performed on his left knee to repair cartilage.

Korb, who was pegged to be the team's top reserve at both fullback positions, is expected to miss three to four weeks recovering from the surgery.
