The German Bundesliga this Saturday saw the table open up amongst the top four after Borussia
Mochengladbach thrashed Schalke 3-0 at Borussia-Park Saturday to keep them in the running for the
title while giving a huge dent to Schalke's title hopes.
Leaders Dortmund were 1-0 winners over Leverkusen to maintain their 2 point lead over Bayern
Munich who were also winners after they beat Kaiserslauten 2-0 at the Allianz Arena.
Croatia, or formerly known as Yugoslavia, have been quite a force in the history of the World Cup
and the European Cup respectively. Although they have never quite made it to a final, they still
remain to be a team of which other national sides fear. In the qualification group stages Croatia
– nicknamed The Blazers – finished 2nd in Group F narrowly missing out on 1st position by a
mere 2 points.

Liverpool has been alerted to Bayern Munich striker Ivica Olic, who has voiced his dissatisfaction
at being left on the sidelines.
The Croatian, who had been linked with a surprise move to Liverpool over the summer has re-emerged
as a target, after revealing to Goal.com his desire to leave the club if he remains on the
substitute's bench.

super substitute does not change soon. Olic has made only 5 appearances for the champions this
season totaling a meagre 72 minutes of play.
The 32 year old striker has had an injury plagued career the past 2 years which have resulted in
him falling down the pecking order in the eyes of coach Jupp Heynckes.
Bayern Munich winger Danijel Pranjic is reportedly unhappy with life at the Allianz Arena under new
coach Jupp Heynckes, according to team-mate Ivica Olic.
The 29-year-old was one of the star performers under previous boss Louis van Gall but has played
just two minutes as a substitute this season.
