Apparently there is some sort of Kei Kamara documentary-type video profile thing coming out that
was shot in Sierra Leone recently. Here's a preview and here's a link to a bunch of other excerpts
and a series of blog posts about about. No word yet on whether or not Chipotle is backing this film
but if you see a shot of him eating a barbacoa burrito bowl on the streets of Freetown you know
what's up.
The image above is of Bobby Blue Eyes surrounded by reporters at Cairo International. Allegedly
he's been hired by Egypt but since everybody thought he was hired by a foreign entity the last time
he was photographed in customs I'm going to take it easy on writing whatever it is I think about
this move.
I'm sure someone will find a way to twist the following statement to make me look like a prick or
self-hating negro but here it is anyway: I'm tired of seeing soccer movies about poor, brown
people.
Documentary makers, you know we're not a monolith right? There are well-to-do brown folks that play
soccer as well.
Some of you have read the title of this post and now believe I am inexplicalbly more full of sh*t
than usual. You're saying to yourself "Sanna Nyassi is the baddest man? C'mon son." I know it
sounds crazy but we're talking about today people; after the dirt he did to RBNY last night dude
deserves some sort of recognition, even if it comes from an aging manic-depressive with a Blogspot
account.
Yes, there is a rainbow in the picture. Those things are pretty and happy, right? But there's also
a UN truck on the touchline and I can't figure that's a good thing because, let's be honest here,
the UN is only called in when things have gotten way too real.
But if the latest news out of Liberia is to believed, that truck might be there for the purpose of
keeping players from issuing beatdowns to reporters who portray them in less than flattering
lights.
Joseph Ngwenya is now D.C. United property but reports out of Africa say he's still in his native
Zimbabwe and training with a local club called...Chicken Inn. Suddenly Thailand Tobacco Monopoly
doesn't seem that bad.
