What The F**k Is Rio Wearing?

Republik Of Mancunia 16 June @ 08:58 AM EDT

I know this is a football blog but the season is over so I have to turn my attentions elsewhere. Whilst the fashion sense of our players isn't my number one priority, I think there are certain exceptions to that rule.

Rio, what the fuck are you wearing mate?

Enjoying a lads holiday in Israel, accompanied by that twat Jody Morris, Rio managed to redeem himself somewhat by taking his United beach towel.

FK Qarabag Embark On European Exploits

Soccer City FC 24 May @ 05:40 PM EDT
The ten-year anniversary of the first European away victory for an Azerbaijani club will be fast approaching soon, and next season the same club responsible for undertaking such an upset will await their fate in the draw for the Second Qualifying Round of the UEFA Europa League. FK Qarabag emerged from their unfashionable tag as underdogs to create a commotion in Northern Israel when Maccabi Haifa plunged to a first-hurdle catastrophe in the 1999/2000 edition of the Intertoto Cup. Freddie Kanoute Goes All Political

The Offside 08 January @ 04:30 PM EDT
Freddie Kanoute isn't one to shy away from mixing his on-pitch play with his off-field beliefs.

FutblogMexicano 17 May @ 04:45 PM EDT

He was excellent at Bolton. Servicable for the Israeli national team. Mediocre at Chelsea. And with an ass full of splinters at Manchester City. At just 22 years of age, Tal Ben-Haim's performances for Bolton were excellent - he even wore the Captain's armband for the club in the UEFA Cup in 2005.

CCL: DC Waits While Crew Advance

USSoccerPlayers 21 October @ 09:30 AM EDT
Using a mix of reserves and regulars, DC United made a big statement for Major League Soccer on Tuesday night, drawing 1-1 with Toluca in Mexico. DC went up in the 5th-minute when Chris Pontious scored, and that lead held until Israel Lopez coverted a penalty for Toluca in the 60th. victoria pero cuartos aun…

The salad dodging striker troubles the scales to the tune of 15 and a half stone but a bulldozing style and some surprising trickery for a big man has already established El Ogro as a crowd favourite.
