Like that scene from every cartoon you've ever watched when someone bashes a janitor over the
head, steals his clothes and uses them to sneak into an abandoned funfair, ticketless Republic of
Ireland fan Conor Cunningham somehow managed to make his way onto the Estonia subs bench to watch
the Euro 2012 play-off first-leg using nothing more than a tracksuit, a half-inched sack of
footballs and fair old pair of cajones.

Julian Finney/Getty ImagesAlthough they are Red to the core, Liverpool have a history of some great
Irish players. On this, the most greenest of days of the year for Ireland, it is important to
remember that those just across the way from Liverpool have had a memorable impact on the club's
fabled lifetime.
Hello,
here we are then. Yep. It's the Interlull. A few games took place last night. All our Irish
players will be on their way back having played last night ... erm ... yeah. If we were a team made
up of Peruvian, Panamaniacs, Romanians, Ukrainians, Cypriots and Swedes then all of our players
would be coming back today.
Now we are well in to the second-half of the 2010/2011 season, who are this terms top performers
racking up the points in various fantasy leagues, and putting themselves in the running for the EPL
team of the year. Maybe surprisingly, as the debate rages about the influx of foreign players in to
the EPL, many homegrown British and Irish players are proving that if you are good enough, you can
still claim a place in the top English sides.
