Continued investment in Android highlights future potential of platform
BETFAIR GROUP PLC (LSE:BET) has today launched a new native Android App that features a completely
revamped user experience customised to the Android operating system.
The launch of the Betfair new Android App highlights its continued commitment to enhancing its

current native App.
Out of the blue this morning we are reading that Bayer Leverkusen have rejected a bid of around
£16m from Chelsea for their 21 year old winger.
Now I will be honest I do not know much about him so have had to look around the Internet for some
video footage and have found a compilation of him and also video footage of a recent goal for
Germany and he looks like a talent.
If newspaper reports are to be believed, Chelsea have beaten Tottenham and AVB to
the signing of highly rated Brazilian midfielder Oscar for a deal worth around £22m.
Oscar, who can play on either side or in behind the striker has been named in Brazil's Olympic
squad and will become the latest Brazilian to join our ranks alongside Luiz, Ramires and Lucas
Piazon.
I'm sorry people I just can't help it!. In light of some of he comments made by the Spurs fans on
the post two down from here about Oscar and how negative and defensive Chelsea were to win the
Champions League and in light of the fact and as I have said before, we are tarnished with a
negative reputation I would like to show you TWO videos that are truly amazing.
I have to say it looks fantastic doesn't it. Eden Hazard has confirmed he is signing for
Chelsea, Juan Mata has been voted as player of the year based on his performances
playing behind the striker, Fernando Torres has had confirmation from the club and Roman
Abramovich personally that HE is our future now and our number one and if rumours are to be
believed, we are on the verge of signing Hulk from Porto!
Diego Maradona backed Chelsea to win the Champions League when it seemed everyone else didn't and
credit to him. He may not be everyone's cup of tea as a person but as a footballer and for his
ability (apart from THAT goal) he has most people's respect and rightly so.
Maradona has spoke of Chelsea's Champions League success last week and has been quick to give
credit where credit is due.
Great news today that will no doubt become somewhat overshadowed by Mr Hazard, is news of Petr Cech
signing a new deal at Chelsea, keeping him here until 2016!.
The news was confirmed on the Chelsea website this afternoon with quotes from Cech and Ron
Gourlay.
Speaking of his new deal, Cech said:
'I am really happy to be part of this great club for another four years.
According to THIS LIST, Jose Bosingwa is to be released by Chelsea when his contract expires at the
end of June. So I was wondering what you people think of Bosingwa's time at the club as it now
comes to an end?.
For me Bosingwa is one of the best attacking full backs in the game but I guess it's the defensive
side of his game that let's him down doesn't it.
Well there it is, our new away strip for next season and I like it!. It's very different to what we
are used to. I had only just got used to the white one last season that looked like a Germany
shirt.
It's a shame that the club brings out a new kit every season, but that's just football these days
and it's to be expected now the club has to live within it's own means due to the financial ruling
that is about to be imposed on everyone.
After yesterdays post and the fact that Harry Redknapp being linked with Chelsea just
doesn't seem to go away, it seems that it may finally be put to bed after Roman Abramovich has seen
sense!.
According to reports in the English Media this morning, Roberto Di Matteo will get the job
on a full time basis and will finally lose the "Interim" tag.
The Chicago Red Stars, led by Lori Chalupny, host the Boston Breakers today in a match between a
pair of undefeated WPSL Elite squads. The Breakers include US WNT midfielder Heather O'Reilly and
Kristine Lilly is an Assistant Coach.
Gametime is 5pm and the Red Stars are offering a live Webcast of the match.
So it seems that a Champions League win has persuaded Eden Hazard to come and sign for Chelsea.
Hazard has confirmed on his Twitter account tonight that he has decided to "join the Champions
League winner" and has turned his back on Manchester.
Now for all the talk of this kid, and there has been constant speculation, I have to admit I
haven't seen alot of him.
Roberto Di Matteo hasn't received anywhere near enough praise for our achievements this season in
the FA CUP and Champions League. If anything, Robbie has taken a back seat compared to the likes of
Didier Drogba and Roman Abramovich this week and I think he is more than happy with that.
At some stage today no matter where he is, Robbie will look back to a week ago and relive the whole
Champions League final.
For many of us it's been the best week of our lives walking around as European Champions!
Can you believe it's been a week since the best footballing night of our lives!.
So, HDWorldLeagueTV have again come up trumps with a fantastic video to commemorate the
occasion.

If you are a regular visitor of my blog, you would have known I posted THIS before the season
started and wrote about how the season would be "A big big season for the old guard". The
first paragraph I wrote has come true!. I said:
Everyone has written Chelsea off this season haven't they and doesn't it really
frustrate and wind you up?
If you were one of the unlucky ones like me who couldn't get to Munich, then it's always great to
see videos from the fans who WERE there! Now I had a fantastic time in Fulham Broadway that
day and night but just imagine what it was like to be there!
Gate 17 Films have put together a video showing what it was like and here it is.

As you know the Official Programme for a football game is a vital part of any match day. The programme has remained important throughout Arsenal Football Club's entire history. Times change however, and the Official Programme must also evolve to keep up with the latest demand in technology.
JJ is not in this picture, just wanted one that shows the staffs at work
Continuing on from Part I yesterday, here's Part II and completion of the interview.
Me : What new features will the media group or you in particular, looking to add to the new
season?
JJ : We've got 5 or 6 reporters who work for the media group and we're constantly looking to
improve/expand on our content across all platforms with the intention of giving the fans what you

Barcelona traveled to Paris for a friendly against PSG on Saturday, bringing about the
long-awaited reunion of Gerard Pique and Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Though they only played one season
together at Barca, Pique and Zlatan forged one of the most heart-warming friendships the sport has
ever known.
You're here, Paris. This is Zlatan. I...am Zlatan. Your city has finally accomplished something
culturally and artistically important. You can thank me later. Right after you thank me now.
I'm pleased you built this large tower behind me in my honor. It's only slightly smaller than
me, but I still deem it worthy of being called the Ibraffil Tower.
Russia and Poland played out a 1-1 draw in perhaps the most feared match of Euro 2012 from a
security standpoint. The two countries have a long history of military invasions and occupations
and supporters from both sides seemed intent on continuing those hostile relations. Prior to the
match, approximately 100 fans from both sides were involved in various fights around Warsaw,
resulting in 56 arrests and 10 injuries.
Italian football has entered the doldrums again, and this time, it
involves some 52 players from Serie B who turned up at Day One of the corruption
trial in Rome yesterday. On a wider scale, 22 football clubs, including newly-promoted sides
Atalanta, Siena and Novara are currently being investigated for their alleged involvement in a
worldwide player betting ring.

Are you taking good advantage of YouTube? As an active Google user I'm in the process of throwing off the shackles of the closed Apple environment. I even gave my niece who attends College of the Ozarks my iPad2 while picking up a Google Nexus 7 which I love. If you want to know more, send me a message.
