Looks like 5 year old Shaqueel Van Persie is a chip of the old block. And Arsenal is interested
in signing the young talent but RVP says the Gunners can wait. His son likes the team he currently
plays for because the coaching is good.
Meanwhile the subtext to this feel good stuff is Arsenal's worry that RVP is going to cut loose
from the club and head off to City or more likely Barca.

Despite already making plenty continuous investments with Manchester City until this season,
Roberto Mancini still bemoans the lack of options he have at the club which simply isn't allowing
him to rest some tired players in recent games.
The lack of depth in the midfield area is being heralded by Mancini as the main issues that
caused the two recent draws his team's having, especially the latest 2-2 result against Fulham in
the premier league which saw the Eastlands slipping ground in their race with Manchester
United.
Who Exactly will Pick Up The Tab?
One of this site's readers made a comment about how NESV (now FSG) have raised ticket prices
tremendously at Fenway Park following their investments into the Red Sox' infrastructure and team.
I must confess it is an area that concerns me in regards to Liverpool Football Club.
Kenny Dalglish accepts Liverpool's title credentials will be judged by results from the off, but
believes he has a much stronger side than last season.
The club legend steered his beloved Reds to a steady finish after taking over from Roy Hodgson's
turbulent stint, and has invested heavily into the side since.
I know what you are thinking... "How could a country who's Primera A was ~$40mil in debt before the
season started only to suddenly have investments of about that much by Qatar prior to the World Cup
2022 bid, which of course there is NO relation to *cough cough*, be a part of a corruption
allegation?
If a new American Rules Soccer League was formed, what single event could guarantee an excess of
publicity to thrust the league further to the forefront of the minds of sports consumers? What
single event could accompany the league and strengthen it every 4 years with the biggest bang for
the buck? Well, you know the answer if you read the title, a competing World Cup staged in the U.
Perhaps the title of this post should be "Predicting the Unpredictable." Given the size and
nature of the current format for Allsvenskan, predictions for a season are extremely complicated.
So many factors have to be taken into account. The big one is always pre-season investments. In
this case it means determining which teams brought back what ageing players from other European
leagues.
As we all know sitting 12 points behind United our title dreams are more or less over. When asked
after the Fulham result the other night, if he would give up dreams of the title for Champions
League success, Lampard said:
"It's a horrible question – but I would say I would. I hate putting one above the
other but having won three Premier League titles the Champions League is the one to
win.
