Martin Jol is set to end his month-long pursuit of a striker as the Fulham boss is on the verge of unveiling Russian striker Pavel Pogrebnyak from the German Bundesliga's VfB Stuttgart.

The 28-year old Pogrebnyak has been capped 30 times by his country, scoring eight goals on the international stage while also scoring 15 times in 64 league appearances for Stuttgart.
