There was good news yesterday for Newcastle fans when top striker Demba Ba said he has no
intention of leaving Newcastle in the summer. Newcastle's new strike force Demba Ba and Papiss
Cisse Ba said the most important thing in football was to be happy and he was happy and enjoying
his football on Tyneside, and as usual, the 26 year-old came over [.

Le Toux talks
It just won't stop.
As suggested by the 130 readers' comments posted on PSP in less then 24 hours since the Le Toux
transfer news broke, if the sadness felt by Union fans at the news of Sebastien Le Toux's transfer
to Vancouver wasn't enough, subsequent comments from Peter Nowak and Le Toux will, for many, see
that sadness turn to anger.

Very interesting revelations are emerging from the Harry Redknapp tax evasion court proceedings.
On Thursday, the Southwark Crown Court heard some very amusing statements from the Tottenham
Hotspurs manager.
Apparently, Redknapp is illiterate. He cannot read or write. In a tape recording played to the
court, Redknapp said that he did not know what an email was and that he had never sent a text or
fax in his life.
So I started writing a blog the other night, canned it, and came back to it again with the
intention of letting time dilute my disappointment. Why? Well the first effort was just too
doom-laden, hairshirt-wearing, chest-thumping and – well it was a miserable read all round. I
didn't enjoy writing it so I added one and one together, made two, and realised that nobody of a
sound mental disposition would much care to read it either.

We were looking forward to dusting off our radical feminist costumes and having a good old bitch
when we found out that Brazilian side Brasiliense FC had been pushing soft porn on their club
website in a bid to boost site traffic.
Spurs manager Harry Redknapp set-up a secret offshore 'bung' account named after his pet dog, a
court heard yesterday. Redknapp was said to have received "bungs or offshore bonuses" from former
Portsmouth chairman Milan Mandaric during his time at Fratton Park. The payments were allegedly
received into a bank account in Monaco.
Coke-d up spot-kick row Bury captain Steven Schumacher and midfielder Giles Coke were both booked
after a row over who should take a penalty during their 3-2 win over Yeovil. Having won the
spot-kick, Coke grabbed the ball with the intention of taking the penalty. Skipper and usual
penalty taker Schumacher attempted to pull rank, [.
Alex McLeish has told Liverpool that they will have to make an ‘attractive' offer for Darren Bent
if they wish to prize the striker away from Aston Villa.
The Reds have been linked with a January move for the England international, as Kenny Dalglish
looks to add much needed firepower to their attacking line.
If you've ever spent a Friday afternoon at work trying to run down the clock by watching Spurs
videos on YouTube (come on, you know you have), you may have come across the amazing Spurs Away Day
videos by @DanLouw. If you haven't, then this article is filling a gap in your Spurs filled life
that you never really realised you had, but somehow always knew was there.
OK so it's not the major striker or defender signing that some have been looking for but the
club announced its first deal of the year with the news that Yago Falque has signed on a permanent
deal from Juventus.
The 21 year old Spaniard has been with the club since the start of the campaign with the
intention of completing a season long loan.
Here is some insight into why Rovers fans hate Steve Kean. They actually hate the owners just as
much for their bewildering decision to sack the hugely popular Sam Allardyce installing Kean in his
place. The reason was never fully explained. But this seems to be par for the course for an
ownership whose intention is to marginalize the board right from the inception.
As expected Gary Cahill has completed his £7 million move to Chelsea from Bolton Wanderers,
apparently being given a contract worth £23 million.
In another quite interesting piece of speculation, Tottenham Manager Harry Redknapp has denied that
the club are willing to swap Luka Modric for Fernando Torres at Chelsea.
A frustrating day at the lane saw a hemmed in Spurs drop two points and miss the chance to go joint
top. Wolves came out with the intention of pressuring us all over the pitch and maintained it for
90 minutes. A point well deserved for them but very disappointing for us considering how well we
dominated Everton Wednesday night.

Liverpool drew their 7th home game of the season against Stoke earlier today, and whilst the club
is still in touch with the the champions league places, history seems to suggest a top four finish
is now very unlikely. It would be madness to write Liverpool off at this stage, and that's not my
intention at all, but historical performance can sometimes be a persuasive indicator of how things
may
Despite the recent bold pronouncements by new NI boss Michael O'Neill regarding his intention to
stop players from the North opting to play for Ireland rather than his IFA team, it would seem,
going by player statements in the past week, that his misguided mission is likely to continue
falling on deaf-ears with players and supporters alike.
Eric Cantona, who has added the offices of poet and thespian to his CV since folding up his
shorts, has reportedly taken steps to acquire the 500 mayoral signatures he needs to stand for
France's presidential vote this year.
However, French newspaper Liberation has subsequently stated that Eric's intention is not to
make it as far as the Elysee Palace (the official residence of the Prez), but to draw attention
to poor quality housing in the country.

If ever there was a match made in Heaven in the footballing world, it would have to be between
Arsenal and Thierry Henry, who have found each other again after a five-year absence, with the
magic the same as it ever was.
It was an otherwise drab encounter, with little to get excited about as a makeshift Arsenal team
struggled to break down a determined and dogged Leeds side coming with only one intention a
lucrative replay.
The Independent has run a story today which claims that Wayne Rooney and Sir Alex
Ferguson have fallen out which has lead to the striker looking for a move away from the club,
again.
Acting quickly, in a statement issued last night by the club and Rooney's agent, Paul Stretford,
it was confirmed that Rooney has no intention of leaving United.

Liverpool face Oldham Athletic at Anfield in the FA Cup third round tomorrow night, and Kenny

Liverpool's blind loyalty to Luis Suárez leaves no room for contrition
Liverpool looked to have seen the light in not appealing against the verdict but club and player
still refuse to accept they are in the wrong At last Liverpool have seen sense. At least that was
the initial reaction when news broke that the club would not be appealing against the eight-match
ban and £40,000 fine imposed on Luis Suárez for racially abusing Patrice Evra.
Truth be told I'd prefer the 2002 vintage, but I'd be lying if I said I was completely cold
about the possible return of Sir Thierry of Henry. It's difficult not to be taken in by the romance
of our all-time top scorer coming back for a few months, even if he is now one score and fourteen
years old.

With the holidays upon us, it's important to remember what's really important and matters the
most.
That reflection can happen at home with family and within your own religious faith, but also within
your team, too.
At the start of this season former Sunderland manager Steve Bruce declared his intention to finish
above local rivals Newcastle at the end of the season and the two north east sides have had mixed
fortunes in the Premier League ...

Alan Hansen has been forced to apologise after unwittingly referring to the black players
affected by the ongoing Suarez and Terry racism cases as 'coloured' not once but twice on Match of
the Day last night.
Hansen, who was making a point about the strides made vis-a-vis racial tolerance in the modern
game, said:
"I think there's a lot of coloured players in all the major teams and there are lots of coloured
players who are probably the best in the Premier League.
Liverpool voiced out their rage after acknowledging FA's punishment towards their star striker,
Luis Suarez, who received an eight match as he is being found guilty in making a racist remarks
towards Manchester United's Patrice Evra.
The Reds, through their official voiced out a stern disapproval statement regarding the
decision, but reports stated that the club's response was taken off from their site 30 minutes
after being shown.
Real Sociedad defender Inigo Martinez insists he is happy to remain in San Sebastien, despite
reported interest in his signature from Liverpool.
The 20-year-old made his senior debut for Sociedad this season, and has since registered a further
13 appearances in La Liga.
His composed displays at the back have reportedly caught the attention of Liverpool, and it has
been claimed that Kenny Dalglish is keen to bring the Spaniard to Anfield in January.
Priority for Lionel is his family and his club, Home UnitedWhile many consider retiring from
international football at the age of 29 is too young, especially for the case of goalkeeper.
After all, great custodians like Dino Zoff and Peter Shilton did maintain their presence between

News reports are dominated by one story today and that concerns Tottenham's intention to de-list
from the Stock Exchange after posting record annual profits.
The Statement on the club website from Daniel Levy reads,
"It is clear to us that increasing the capacity of the club's stadium is a key factor in the
continued development and success of the club and will involve the company in considerable
additional capital expenditure," a club statement read.
Image that makes the heart shudder in fear
As fans, we are more than easily riled aren't we. I will be the first to admit that when it
comes to Arsenal, emotions are rarely things within my control. When I saw the way Real Madrid has
acted in trying to tap up one of our players, I was incensed.
Middlesbrough star Rhys Williams insists that he has no intention of leaving the club in
January.
Williams stated earlier this week that he was not ready to sign a new deal at Boro - unless they
improved their offer.
This led to renewed speculation about his future with Bolton and Liverpool linked again, with Aston
Villa also previously linked.
Earlier this season, ambitious newly promoted premier league side, Queens Park Rangers (QPR)
didn't hide their intention in grabbing England's veteran midfielder, David Beckham, but apparently
that ambition has now died out.
QPR's hands off Beckham's deal was revealed by the club's manager, Neil Warnock, who stated that
at the moment his team probably needs other players instead of the flamboyant LA Galaxy
midfielder.

Well, after the hysteria of yesterday's shirt giveaway (more on that later) things have taken a
rather sober turn this afternoon. Like one of those magic-eye pictures that were all the rage in
the nineties, the details are burning into focus and it looks awfully like another international
break boogieman.
