Noticias : Juve, Romario & Your Fav Pin-Up!

Futbolita 14 January @ 06:26 AM EDT

Oh finally, Diego and friends are starting to win... for the love of Ciro and Juve! We were starting to believe that the insults thrown at everyone from Felipe Melo to the boardroom were never going to end. But perhaps Napoli threw them a 3-0 lifeline (ok, in calcio Italia, no one ever throws you a lifeline.

Arsenal v Notlob Srerednaw: the league match of the decade

Untold Arsenal 06 January @ 05:36 AM EDT
Warning: contains occasional insanity, multiple insults, ephemeral nursery rhymes and mild fantasy. So, here I am on Wednesday morn, with three thoughts in my head which is an improvement of the one that normally resides there. Thought one: will the game go ahead? If it does the 27.5 Notlob supporters who normally travel out of the [. Click to continue reading...

Dirty Tackle 08 December @ 02:15 PM EDT

Hey, Antonio Cassano has two balls, everybody. And he is NOT afraid of you. Apparently he wants you to know that. From Sky Sport 24 via Goal:

How's That For Irony?

The Fullback Files 03 November @ 02:02 PM EDT
It was beginning to look like, given the hemming and the hawing, the insults to league and to fans, followed by furious backpedalling, that Kevin Payne was going to drop the ball and hand Tommy the keys to season #4. But then a curious thing... Click to continue reading...

Cassano is not too legit to quit

Dirty Tackle 01 November @ 09:02 PM EDT

After disappointing performances in Sampdoria's 5-1 thrashing by Juventus and 0-0 draw with newly promoted giant tripper uppers Bari not to mention the fact that he only has one goal in 10 league matches this season Antonio Cassano was jeered by a section of his home supporters on Sunday and as you might have expected, he has severely overreacted.

Guti tells Alcorcon’s supporters they’re #1

Dirty Tackle 28 October @ 02:29 PM EDT

The day after goofing around in the snow and getting their free Audis, Real Madrid were thoroughly thumped 4-0 in the first leg of their fourth round Copa del Rey tie with third division side Alcorcon. The loss has been a staggering and embarrassing blow, which has not only put their Copa campaign in serious doubt, but has manager Manuel Pellegrini on the verge of getting sacked.

West Ham: This ain’t gonna be as easy as people think

The Goon Blog - an Arsenal blog. 25 October @ 08:44 AM EDT

I officially have no voice. It is not very nice and I am resorting to writing insults down and showing them to the intended recipient rather than just shouting it at them. Some people might say its karma, I just call it a bloody annoyance, and a painful one at that.

So we make the short trip to Upton Park today and it has been the scene of many a hardfought game over the past few years and on a few occasions we have come out of it with a big fat 0 points.

Stoking the flames of expectation

The Boys From White Hart Lane 24 October @ 08:16 AM EDT
Stoke at the Lane today and, if I'm being frank, we should batter 'em. And that's with all due respect to Tony Pulis and his side of muscled brick houses. Anything less than three points is calamity.
Jonathan Woodgate could be in line for a first start of the season but one suspects Harry Redknapp may choose to blood him back into the side in the Carling Cup clash with Everton rather than today. Click to continue reading...

Great Serie A Games: Inter-Sampdoria 2004/2005

The Offside: Italy 13 October @ 11:36 AM EDT

First, the international week is incredibly boring. Second, I thought I'd start a new post here on the Italy Offside: Great Serie A games. A post that will show videos of some of the greatest Serie A games of all time. For the first post I decided to stay fairly recent. We go back to the 2004/2005 season.

Adebayor-gate… Harper uncovers a media conspiracy

Arsenal Insider 25 September @ 01:30 PM EDT

BY HARPER:

The intent of this article is not to focus once more on Adebayor and his antics against our players and supporters at Eastlands. Rather, I wanted to write this piece in response to the ridiculous myths that have now become entrenched as "facts" with regard to the Gooner Nation in the aftermath of not only the events of that game, but also the series of incidents that have generated negative coverage of Arsenal supporters in the last few seasons.

Life kinda sucks for Maradona

Dirty Tackle 18 September @ 03:59 PM EDT

Even putting troubles related for his failures as Argentina's coach aside, Maradona really isn't doing so great at the moment. For one, he's checked himself into a clinic in order to lose weight (this, of course, after he's already had gastric bypass surgery). And as if that weren't demoralizing enough, for some reason he did so in Northern Italy where the finance police eagerly await his return like your dog waits for you to come home.

Jose is eating Lippi for dinner

Dirty Tackle 19 August @ 01:32 PM EDT

It all started when Marcello Lippi said he thought Juventus would win Serie A this season. That was the spark that ignited Jose Mourinho's insatiable temper and has led to begin an all-out attack on Lippi that would make your dad cry. Even though Lippi was quick to apologize and say it was just his opinion, mind you, Jose has unloaded with some daggers:

Lippi passed judgment on television the other night," slammed Mourinho.
