When U.S. Soccer sealed the deal to make Jurgen Klinsmann head coach of the men's national team,
it was evident that the federation was making a big investment in Klinsmann and his outlook for the
program. Now it's clear just how big that investment was.
Urban Meyer has officially been introduced as the new coach of Ohio State football. That isn't
very newsworthy since it's been obvious for days that he was going to take the job. However, what
is newsworthy are his contract details.

Following reported interested from Real Madrid, Javier Hernandez has just agreed a new five year
deal with Manchester United.
His representative, Eduardo Hernandez, today reported that after scoring 20 goals in his first
season, the club have decided to reward the striker.
"We have renegotiated Javier's contract and he is now committed for five years with
Manchester United," he said.

Club price is going down from $280 to $260, the East Stand midfield and it's sun issues is going
down $40 from $700 to $660.

When physically and mentally healthy, Justin Duchscherer is a heck of a pitcher. In fact, he's
been named to the All-Star team twice in his career. However, being healthy hasn't been a small
task for the talented hurler. The Baltimore Orioles decided to bet on his health by signing
Duchscherer to a one-year deal worth as much as $4.
The Tampa Bay Rays needed to reload after losing a plethora of free agents including Carl
Crawford, Rafael Soriano and Carlos Pena. The Rays successful added pieces back to their puzzle by
signing a pair of aging stars in Manny Ramirez and Johnny Damon. Tampa Bay will count on Ramirez
and Damon to produce in order to make it to the postseason for the second straight year.
UPDATE: According to Aston Villa's official website, Aston
Villa have completed the signing of striker Darren Bent. Bent has signed
a four-and-a-half year deal with the club.
