A few things...

No Short Corners 10 November @ 07:27 AM EST
Later today, I will have that 'fun Premier League post' that I promised was coming a few weeks back. Sean and I put it together with a couple of NSC pals. Took a little longer than expected, but it's ready now...#1 - I've posted my Q&A with USMNT/IK Start defender Clarence Goodson, who I had somehow had never interviewed before last week. Know Your US MNT Opponent: Honduras

Soccer Tickets Online 07 July @ 07:00 AM EST

It has been a long time since I did an episode of the "Know Your US MNT Opponent" series, so I thought to myelf, "why not bring it back for the big match with Honduras tomorrow?" HON deserves the recognition because they are a strong side especially considering the fact that the nation's total population doesn't exceed that of New York City.

Rosenborg: Cruising To Tippeligaen Glory?

Soccer City FC 25 June @ 03:11 PM EST
Rosenborg's victory over defending champions Stabaek IF signalled the halfway checkpoint in the Norwegian Tippeligaen, delivering a chilling reminder to the chasing pack that their ten-point lead at the table summit will not be relinquished with fifteen matches remaining.
The unimposing consolation tag as ‘Best of the Rest' is usually granted to the party who clamber across the finishing line in the wake of the dynamic favourites or heavyweights, salvaging several ounces of pride in doing so but effectively beleaguered in the knowledge that silverware will remain elusive. MLS Rumors 26 July @ 11:45 AM EST
American Soccer Reader is reporting that the reports out of Norway have the Red Bull New York player possibly headed to the Norwegian club. Should Freeman go to IK Start he will not be the lone American on the roster, nor would he even be the lone former MLS player. Mathis to Greece, Goodson to Norway

My Soccer Blog 11 January @ 10:20 AM EST
Clint Mathis is taking another stab at European football as has left the LA Galaxy and signed with Greece side Ergotelis. His last gig in Europe didn't end so well and his second stand in MLS was mostly a wash. Perhaps a chance with a team that is interested in having him play will motivate him to return to form, as it was obvious MLS bored him. Click to continue reading...
