The Metro Reverse Curse lives.
What is the Reverse Curse? It is a temporary suspension of all footballing ability while wearing
a Metro Bull kit that is magically cured once a player switches kits to another club. There are so
many examples of this, but sticking to recent memory (and not in any order of importance at all);
Hunter Freeman leaves Red Bull and has become a regular starter in Norway,
Gabriel Cichero leaves Red Bull and becomes a valuable piece of their National
teams youth movement, Mike Magee has proven to be a key offensive cog in the
Galaxy's overall make up leading the team in assists, Diego Jimenez continues to
excel in Mexico, and notched two goals upon arriving back to his country after his RB
departure.

Kenny Cooper Sr., a player I watched when growing up in the NASL has always been blunt. Cooper
spoke about his son's recent transfer to Brent Latham, one of the top football correspondents that
cover the American game.
Here were some of Cooper's comments from the Yanks Abroad story and my reaction:
"The value of a player as a young American is not even close to what it should be,"
says Cooper, Sr.

I love the way DC United gets the benefit of the doubt with its recent signing of Danny Szetela. I
am not sure what I think of the deal, personally. I think need to know what salary he's on before I
can figure that out.
But my point is that if this were a team like Colorado or Dallas making this move, I suspect fans
(especially DC fans) would be howling laughing at Team X retreading Szetela.

The Norwegian player Hunter Freeman had some good luck in this match for Start against Odd
Grenland, recently.
Floating the ball into the box hoping one of his team would get a head or some connection to it,
the ball somehow manages to end up in the back of the net.
Watch how the keeper tries to attempt to blame his defence for the error, and then realises that
its plainly his fault.

Think this one has to go down as a goalkeeping error Sometimes goals are scored from 40 yards and
the keeper can do absolutely nothing about them. This is not one of those instances. The Odd
Grenland keeper isn't victim to a top corner thunderbolt, nor an awkward bounce. He simply stands
rooted to the spot [.

The annual May 16th round of the Tippeliga attracts big crowds of people ready for a party, as
people look to kick off the May 17th constitutional day celebrations a few hours early.
No place typifies the May 16th phenomenon like Brann Stadion. Now Brann-fans
are a fickle bunch, but when they're all out and up for it there are few grounds in the Tippeliga
that generates a better atmosphere, and May 16th is usually one of those occasions.
