There was a time, back during the 1980s, that Hummel had their chevrons splashed across every league from here to Kingdom Come.

Alas, in the era of Nike, Adidas and their mega-clubs, the Danish brand is more of a niche presence these days, though they still crank out the odd stonker.

Denmark are playing Chile in an international friendly on Tuesday night and, thanks to Hummel, the Danes are going to be wearing an extra special shirt for the occasion.

As part of the Made by Denmark campaign, Hummel have stitched together a selection of vintageRød-Hvide jerseys together to create something entirely new.

Just as promised, Denmark turned out in a special, pristine all-white kit for their opening 2018 World Cup qualifieragainst Liechtenstein last night to symbolise a "fresh start"for them as an international team.

The Danes then waited until the following day to roll out their new home kit proper, which is if you'll excuse the excess saliva a thing of true beauty.

Denmark have announced they plan to turn out for their opening 2018 World Cup qualifier in a pristineall-white kit to symbolise a brave new beginning for their national side.

After missing out on the last two World Cups, the Danes begin their quest to qualify for Russia 2018 with a group opener Liechtenstein tonight.

Hummel have cooked up a batch of new kits for the Afghanistan international side, with the women's kit coming complete with its own built-in hijab.

The kits were launched on International Women's Day, with Hummel keen to point out that the female shirt comes with an intergrated base layer that allows Muslim players to be covered from head to toe while still playing in comfort.
