Liverpool manager Rafael Benítez would rather win the Premier League trophy than another Champions
League title.
Following a disappointing start to the season which has seen them lose five league games already,
many are ruling Liverpool out of the title race this term.
Nevertheless, Benítez, who brought the Champions League trophy to Anfield in 2005, is desperate to
claim the domestic crown.

Liverpool legend John Aldridge claims that his old side have not been aggressive enough this

The second is that David Beckham is eyeing New York, Miami or Montreal as the location in which to

Wow, I never thought at this age level that I would see a game like we had Tuesday night against
OSA Inferno. These girls were big and not afraid to throw down! Literally within the first 3
minutes an OSA forward leveled our middle defender. She wasn't going for the ball in any way. It
was a knee driven into the thigh and a hip-check as Taylor brought the ball to her right.

First off wowsers! When we say this weekend is a big match we don't exaggerate (like some
other weeks) as number one hosts number two in this fight for the top spot. These two clubs have
passed off the honor of being the Premier League's best week by week and this week seems to be the
match where we will find out which team truly is the better squad.

In the intro to every Premier League game that ESPN2 shows on Saturday mornings, they begin with
a graphic of the world and then zoom in on England and directly to the home ground where the match
is played. It's a brilliant sequence, but they goofed this past Saturday when instead of zooming in
on the Emirates Stadium, home of Arsenal Football Club, they zoomed in on the Arsenal Stadium,
better known as Highbury.

It's the FA Cup First Round this weekend so, in the first of five pieces about the Oldest
Cup Competition In The World (and there's a phrase that is probably copyrighted by The FA), we take
a look back at Wycombe Wanderers' run to the semi-finals of the competition in 2001.
The FA Cup is a competition that throws up surprise results every season, but some records
remain and one that may never be broken is that no-one from the bottom two divisions of the
Football League has made The FA Cup final.

Tottenham Hotspur revealed plans for a 56,000-seat rebuilding of White Hart Lane this week. An
undoubted step forward for Spurs, even if the undulating roof-line is a little unoriginal and
redolent of Arsenal's new gaff down the Seven Sisters road.
Ashburton Grove's extra capacity means Arsenal are coining in £3million per game, a revenue stream
Spurs at present can only dream of matching.

fate, the only picture I have is a blurry one of a television screen showing the end of the match
