It has been a marvelous three weeks for the Under-20 Women's football teams in Japan, more so for
the teams that have gone on to progress to the semi-finals of the tournament. The USA Women's team,
who defeated a resilient North Korean side last week, will now face Nigeria in the semi-finals in
Tokyo tomorrow while Germany take on Japan.
The U.S. Team will head back home today after a pretty successful trip to Japan where the team was
treated wonderfully, the organization was tremendous and the hospitality world class.
The two results were positive as the team continues to gear up for the Olympics, which kick off in
about 114 days.

Cross-dressing, multi-lingual marathon man Eddie Izzard has joined the ranks of the celebrity
football directors by joining Crystal Palace as an Associate Director. The 50-year-old surrealist
has been a fan of the Eagles all his life and is eager to see his beloved side get back into the
Premier League.
Former Manchester United player, Lee Martin, has taken time out to answer a few questions for
RoM on his time at the club and what he's been up to since.
STR: You joined United when you were a kid. How confident were you of making it for the
first team then?
LM: I was never confident I was ever good enough to play in United's first team.
Since making the move from the pitch to the TV studio, GNev has instantly become one of the best
football pundits out there. However, the Red Devils legend also fancied himelf as a bit of a hotel
magnate. The former England man planned to use the proceeds from last year's testimonial game at
Old Trafford to build a £20million, 139-bed hotel and supporters club right next to the so
called 'Theatre of Dreams'.
Uh oh, Franck Ribery doesn't look too impressed up there! Let's all pretend
that it's a major case of jet lag and Franck's failure to pick up the
David Luiz Book Of Hospitality. To be fair, it must be dreadful stuck in a
training camp where you're forced to sing Birthday songs to the President, train in the sweltering
heat and not get to fist pump on the streets or wherever you'd like!

Chelsea's performance (especially in the first half) and result on Wednesday night was fantastic
against (it has to be said) a disappointing Genk side at Stamford Bridge. For me, it was simply the
best night of Chelsea football for many different reasons.
I have been a Chelsea fan all my life, I am from the area, my family are Chelsea fans and my
Father, Uncle, Brother and Cousins all go to the game.
I love the NFL and I'm happy that its back and that my beloved Bengals are amazingly 1-0, but the
real show is tomorrow on Fox Soccer Channel, where the stakes top Week 1 in the NFL!

Lucozade made it a dream come true for two sets of loyal supporters when they represented Liverpool
FC in the Lucozade Fans Fives at Stamford Bridge.
This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to represent the Anfield club came thanks to Lucozade, in
association with the Barclays Premier League, who began a search to find the country's most
dedicated Barclays Premier League football fans.
Former Liverpool left-back Stig Inge Bjornebye has hailed the club's Academy as one of the finest
in Europe.
The Norwegian has been a frequent visitor to the Reds' youth-base in recent years and has been
hugely impressed by the work being carried out by Academy director Frank McParland.
Speaking at a specially arranged U13 clash that saw his amateur side Heming takes on Liverpool,
Bjornebye revealed his deep gratitude to the Kirkby staff for their hospitality.
Newcastle fans were feeling pretty hard done by this week when top transfer target Loic Remy snubbed them to join QPR. But it's now emerged that the Magpies paid for the Frenchman to stay in London the night before he signed for the Hoops. Mike Ashley and co. splashed out for a hotel room and [...]
Some teams still haven't played their first games but Euro 2012 is well under way now, and the
fans filling up public places around the cities of Poland and Ukraine have been getting into the
spirit, enjoying fine weather and local hospitality across the eight venues staging games.
Defending European champions Spain arrived at their hotel in Gniewino, Poland on Tuesday ahead
of the start of Euro 12 and they were greeted by a very nice welcome committee. As the band played,
a girl in traditional garb presented confused striker Fernando Llorente with a basket containing a
large bread as his teammates laughed and applauded.
I do like good hospitality and there comes a time in every one's life that facilities become really
important. Hospitality is something Nottingham Forest do very well. I also have a love of legends.
So to stand on that spot, just before kick off on a Saturday afternoon, at the home of Nottingham
Forest, my home, the place where legends have stood and then turn and shout ‘Get into 'em lads'
from the centre circle at the likes of Raddy, Moussi, Dex, was for a Forest fan, well it was me
smiling from ear to ear for days afterwards [.

Speaking of the U.S. Women's Youth Teams, the U.S. Under-20s are also training in San Diego (a big
Navy city) and got the opportunity to tour the Amphibious Assault Ship USS Bonhomme Richard. As the
players and the sailors are both representing their country, this seemed like a natural fit.
Last Wednesday Fenerbache players found themselves playing in front of 41,000 fans, mostly girls
and some children, something sure they never imagined in their lives. Yes, no adult men were in
stadium at all !!!!!
Three's a crowd In an unexpected display of Old Firm hospitality, Rangers decided to provide Celtic
with a few obvious gags by offering manager Ally McCoist this seat in the directors' box. After Sky
Sports had cut to McCoist a couple of times, someone must have wisely whispered in the woman's ear
that she might [.

can see some of the beautiful sights.
I was recently in the most wonderful country in the world, Colombia, where the U-20 World Cup is
currently taking place. The atmosphere is great as Colombians greet the world with their usual
smiles, hospitality and friendliness.Except if you are Argentine... I had made nothing of an
incident between the Argentinean team during a match against Egypt and the fans in Medellín until,
last Saturday,
Noises coming out of UEFA suggest that the Champions League Final could return to the new
Wembley as early as two seasons' time.
The unusual step is being mooted because 2013 is the 150th anniversary of the Football Association,
the world's oldest, and this year's showpiece went off so well.
Napoli and Genoa enjoy one of the strongest friendships in Serie A. When both sides meet the tifosi
from both sides are known for their hospitality towards each other, however it all started with a
one of the more murky affairs in Calcio history. It was 1982, and the 30th and final game of the
season.
