The Brotherly Game says an anonymous league source claims the 2012 MLS All-Star game will be in
Philly or Kansas City. Yesterday, Broad Street Hooligans announced that a source within the Union
had illegally discovered that the 2012 MLS All-Star game would be in Philly.

Broad Street Hooligans says they have "a few connections who work down at PPL" and that these
connections "may have accidentally overheard their bosses super-secret text messages" to the effect
that Philadelphia will host the 2012 MLS All-Star Game.
Defend the referee or defend AZ Alkmaar keeper Esteban?
In case you missed it, things got pretty heated at the Amsterdam ArenA last night. In the 37th
minute, when Ajax were up 1-nil in the Dutch Cup, an Ajax fan ran on to the pitch and attacked AZ
Alkmaar goalkeeper Esteban. The Costa Rican keeper, seeing the threat of a 19-year-old hooligan
coming his way, retaliated.

English referee Howard Webb was caught in the middle of ugly scenes as Greek hooligans attacked

We've chronicled before the Germans' love affair for the FBM. Perhaps its because they're very
interested in the growth of soccer in the United States, or more likely, they really, really, love
their beer.

With the great success of 'Stache Bash' supporting Help Kick Hunger, I couldn't help but think
of the great privilege we have as a group to help others.
It's the eve of the Philadelphia Union's home opener and there's plenty of talk about the game
but there's also a lot of talk about things completely unrelated to it. Despite the upcoming game,
it seems that there is focus upon the possible head butting between the Union and their supporters
group, the Sons of Ben.
Buried in an article by Marc Weber in the Vancouver Sun, concerning a dispute between The
Southsiders and Vancouver Whitecaps FC over away tickets, is an interesting note and comment from
Whitecaps CEO Paul Barber
Each club is required to provide a chaperone for each 50 travelling fans -a cost that,
Barber pointed out, is being absorbed by the club.
For whatever reason, Michel Platini celebrated four more years at the helm of UEFA by pointing
to his teeth, which he's apparently quite proud of. They could probably use a touch of whitening,
even if it's nice to have the head of an acronym who isn't wholly concerned with the appearance of
matters.

Let's start back in the late 60's and early 70's. The mere mention of Leeds was certain to cause
fear in all but the hardest of Gooners. Leeds were as hard as their fans. Bremner, Giles, Charlton,
Hunter etc were without question the dirtiest side I have ever seen, but let there be no doubt,
that side could play great football before they kicked two colours out of the opposition.
