Without doubt the highlight this weekend is the climax of the season in Malaysia with Kelantan taking on Negeri Sembilan in the Malaysia Cup final at Bukit Jalil. I think it is fairly safe to say things are not going to plan at Real Madrid's Santiago Bernabeu. After a summer of unprecedented spending they were supposed to challenge for honours on all fronts and regain their place at the top of La Liga from Barcelona.

In all fairness they're only a point behind Barca but the Real hieracrhcy are known for being a bit trigger happy when it comes to managers.

It's been over 20 years since Liverpool last lost four games in a row and it is time for some changes at Anfield. Rafa Benitez has enjoyed a big support from the fans even though he did little to deserve it but it is more than clear he has taken this team as far as he could. He's had his ups and downs at Liverpool but for the team that should be fighting for honours to lose four games in a row is simply inexcusable.

Phil Thompson believes that Liverpool co-owner George Gillett should sell his stake in the Anfield outfit to Prince Faisal bin Fahed, the Saudi Arabian prince whose company F6 are believed to be in talks with the American.

Olympique Marseille have made a big progress during the last few years and they have again become one of the strongest teams in France but the last two Champions League campaigns are the proof Marseille are not yet ready for the big stage. Didier Deschamps' team completely outplayed Milan in their opening Champions League match but still somehow managed to lose the game and this shows the team are yet to prove they've got winning mentality.
