It was announced today that Spanish defender Ubay Luzardo has joined Melbourne Victory on loan from
Hong Kong's Kitchee SC until the end of the season. Luzardo, 28, who has been on trial with
Melbourne for the past two weeks adds some much needed depth and experience to Victory's defence.
Jim Magilton was happy to have Luzardo at the
Arsenal will tour the Far East taking in Seoul, Beijing and Hong Kong in the summer, it can be
revealed.
Gunners chiefs are in talks with Far East parties to finalise the jaunt having already sealed a
deal to play a friendly match in Nigeria.
With exposing the brand to global markets key to Arsenal's business strategy, gone are the days
when Arsène Wenger could take the squad to Austria to take the Alpine air and prepare for the
season ahead.

Yesterday Saudi Arabia managed to beat Thailand 3-0 after very weak referee performance from Hong
Kong. The referee gave two yellow cards to a Thai player #16
what I liked most is the way the Thai player was acting too polite in front of the ref at the

Eric Lichaj's emergence at left back was one of the bright spots for the United States men's
national team during the Gold Cup, but it doesn't look like he'll be manning that position in next
week's rematch against Mexico.
It's the final of the Asia Trophy and we're taking on Chelsea for a chance to grab some
pre-season silverware in Hong Kong. Like all pre-season games, it would be a mistake to read to
much into performances, and the result doesn't really matter, but doing well in this one wouldn't
hurt confidence.
What have we learned from Arsenal and Chelsea's Far East experience?
Chelsea are bringing a taste of the Premier League to Asia and our very own John Cross is on the
road with them, bringing you all the behind-the-scenes gossip and news... *** My trip around the
Far East is now into its fourth week, having taken in four different cities.
It's official then, Charles N'Zogbia is a Villan. I'd assumed that it wouldn't be completed, or
at least officially announced, until after the weekend since just about everyone is in Hong Kong at
the moment, but I guess it really was just a formality in the end.
It looks like N'Zogbia is going to have the number 10 shirt, the same number he had at Wigan,
left behind by John Carew.

After working their way through Malaysia and Thailand, Chelsea touched down in Hong Kong
yesterday to visit a soccer clinic, where a slightly perplexed-looking 'David Cameroon' was
presented with a traditional birthday bun despite his birthday not being for another two weeks.
