The derby match between St. Pauli and Hansa Rostock once again brings fire and violence and
police involvement, this time inflamed by St. Pauli's Deniz Naki. [101gg]
Every fan attending the Dynamo Kiev v Inter Champions League match will be given masks to

Last week, Creteil Bebel, an amateur French team, refused to play a league match against Paris Foot
Gay - citing a range of reasons, all homophobic. They have since agreed to take the field against
PFG, after they were threatened with being banned from the league and made national headlines in
France as the homophobic Muslim team (the manager cited the fact that players on his team were
"practicing Muslims" to explain the refusal).

Big Story
Oh, the irony. Just days after Eduardo's blatant dive for
Arsenal against Celtic went unnoticed by the referee, Celtic's
Aiden McGeady received a second yellow of his own for diving as his team beat Hibernian 1-0.

It's nice to see the discussion in the comments of Dan's article eventually expanded to include

in English football this week entitled "Leagues Behind Football's Failure to Attack Anti-Gay
Abuse". Stonewall found that 7 out of 10 fans have heard homophobic abuse directed at players
during a game, and branded the sport "institutionally homophobic.

Since it's a new year, it's a new opportunity for all the bleeding hearts around the country to
complain that football fans are too ‘aggressive' or ‘racist' or ‘homophobic.' It's pretty
irritating because, let's face it, if I can't accuse a grown man I've never met of taking it up the
arse for cash in the safety of a football stadium, where else am I gonna do it?

start fighting homophobia. Apparently several organizations are teaming up for a promotional video
speaking out against the homophobia that exists in football - and it does. Here's the lowdown: The
Football Association (FA), the Professional Footballers' Association, the players' [.

England's Football Association is apparently developing a campaign targeting football's homophobic
culture. This isn't the first time the FA has made gestures in this direction, so pardon my
cynicism about the depth of this organization's commitment to the topic. That said, the current
campaign is being generated by Kick It Out, the FA's anti-racist program, which seems fairly
successful in its
