Birmingham 1-2 Bolton OR Ginger vs Ginger

The Offside - Bolton Wanderers 28 September @ 01:03 PM EST

So first off many apologies vis-a-vis the lack of match preview. I was in Dallas for a rugby tournament all weekend (my team is going to nationals!) and I had so much homework Thursday I couldn't do it (I got an hour and a half of sleep on Thursday). Also I'm aware this is a wee bit late, but I only got home about an hour ago.

On The Pitch 11 September @ 06:46 AM EST

Raise your hand if you've worried about how much your kids do in a given year and if you are ruining their lives. Come on you over there. As soccer season kicks off and schedules get busier, it's a common concern. Persisam Samarinda, nicknamed the Borneo Eagles, have expressed an interest in Chonburi's international keeper Kosin Hathairattanakool.

It's a Good Thing The MNT Bloggers Weren't Flying the Plane

U.S. MNT Blog 05 July @ 03:38 PM EST
Well, for many reasons, but as a starting point because we flew to Dulles and not Reagan National. Also, we shared a plane with Haiti. Really nothing interesting to report there. They were first to board and sat in the back, the U.S. team sat in the front, and we're not sure a word was exchanged. Mostly because everyone slept the majority of the flight, which last about four hours and change. Click to continue reading...

The Gunning Hawk 25 June @ 08:00 AM EST

Here I am, 24 days after my last part of last's season review, putting down some thoughts about all the news we read about in the last month. I didn't have much to write about lately so I preferred to stay quiet and let the rest of the team update you guys with news and transfer rumours. But today, I want to share some thoughts with you, plenty of them actually.

Rafa's 'crushing machine': The proven way to win arguments and titles

Liverpool Kop 16 April @ 11:39 PM EST
"Valencia were an implacable steamroller. They were like boxers who pinned their opponents to the rope and wouldn't stop until they had annihilated them. The tremendous intensity of their play earned them the nickname 'The Crushing Machine'." Sound familiar...?
Taken from the book 'Rafa Benitez' by Paco Llloret, this quote will resonate with any Liverpool fans who remember the sense of optimism buzzing around the club when it was announced that Rafa was to leave Valencia and become Liverpool's manager. Click to continue reading...

Dynamo Kiev 1-1 Arsenal

For some inexplicable reason, I didn't switch the TV on to watch the game until mid-way through the second half. I was presented with an Arsenal side on the back foot being assaulted by a Kiev side 1-0 up and with a spring in their step. It wasn't a nice thing to be presented with.
