So there was the Hollywood United game and all the anticipation that went with it, and we did
brilliantly to draw 1-1, with Anthony LaPaglia having the game of his life in goal for Hollywood -
and them unleashing the hounds of their 'A' team against us in the second half when they were 1-0
down.
It was quite a high really, as we enjoyed a couple in The Daily Pint afterwards.

Yesterday's game was like one of those pre Christmas pantomimes in which the main character is
unaware of an imminent danger but everyone in the audience can see exactly what is going on and
cries out, it's behind you, it's behind you.
These situations are usually funny and so should this one have been, if drawing with West Ham,
after being two up, wasn't so utterly soul destroying.

Things have not been going well for River Plate this season. As one of Argentina's two biggest
clubs, there are a certain level of expectations always hanging over them and so far this season
they're falling short of those targets. Like, by a lot.
Currently in 16th place through eight matches, River reached a new low by losing 3-1 at home to

on Thursday. Jason's eye wasn't back to normal, Nick Esp and a few of the other lads were out so we
just had eleven. But with us 0-0 at half time we were feeling good.
Artur lost it with the ref, Boyley decided that since we're 2-0 down we should drop the 4-1-4-1
since we might as well lose 5-0 as 2-0 and that's precisely what happened.
