Charlie Adam.Writing in his column for The Mirror, Holloway suggested that the negative impact of
the transfer speculation over Charlie Adam actually contributed to his side's relegation last
season:"

Blackpool have agreed a deal to sign Liverpool defender Danny Wilson on loan until the end of the
season.
Wilson has yet to make an impact at Anfield since his arrival from Rangers in 2010 and has made
just one appearance in the Carling Cup so far this season.
The Scotland international admitted earlier this season that he would be open to a loan move away
from Liverpool in search of regular first-team football and Reds boss Kenny Dalglish has now
decided to let him move on.

"Yesterday, Jonathan Moss, a bog-standard referee from the wrong side of the Pennines, gave a

Liverpool midfielder Jonjo Shelvey has been named Football League Player of the Month for November
after his loan spell at Blackpool.
The 19-year-old, who has now been recalled to Anfield, scored four goals in five matches for Ian
Holloway's Championship side during the month.
Now Shelvey, who was named on the bench for last week's 1-0 victory over QPR, is hoping that he can
continue with his fine form and force his way back into the starting eleven for the Merseysiders.
Liverpool midfielder Jonjo Shelvey feels sorry for his team-mates who have suffered injury or
suspension, but he is ready to step up as a replacement.
The £1.7million signing from Charlton in May 2010 was at the beginning of December recalled from a
loan at Blackpool by boss Kenny Dalglish after Lucas Leiva's season was ended by knee surgery.
'Shelvey will be a top player'
Ian Holloway admits he would have liked to have kept Jonjo Shelvey at Blackpool a bit longer but
believes the midfielder has returned to Liverpool a better player.

Liverpool has recalled Jonjo Shelvey from his loan spell at Blackpool as speculation mounts about
the severity of Lucas Leiva's knee injury.
Shelvey, 19, has scored six goals in ten Championship appearances for the Seasiders, including a
hat-trick in the 5-0 thrashing of Leeds earlier this month.
Reds recall Shelvey from loan following Lucas injury
TEENAGE midfielder Jonjo Shelvey is on his way back from Blackpool early after the Seasiders
announced Liverpool had recalled him early from his loan with them. The recall follows on from last
night's injury to Lucas Leiva when the Brazilian midfielder was stretchered off twenty minutes from
the end of the game against Chelsea with a knee problem.
Blackpool loanee Jonjo Shelvey is hoping Liverpool will agree to extend his stay at Bloomfield
Road.
The 19-year-old midfielder is enjoying a spell of regular first-team football, chipping in with six
goals for the Seasiders.
Having helped Ian Holloway's side cement their place within the promotion-chasing pack in the
Npower Championship, Shelvey is eager to see the challenge through, and help Blackpool bounce back
to the Barclays Premier League at the first time of asking.
Blackpool want to extend Liverpool starlet Jonjo Shelvey's loan spell at the club.
Shelvey sealed a loan move to Blackpool at the end of September and has impressed during his stay
at Bloomfield Road, scoring six goals in nine appearances.

Okay, if the next England manager has to be English, who do we choose? Here are some of the
English manager currently employed as football managers (seems like a good filter), in order of
preference (some rational, some not):
Alan Pardew hmmmmmmmmmmm.
Lee Clark knows how to win, was a good player, should be a dark horse, but ideally would have
managed and succeeded in the Premiership.

Blackpool manager Ian Holloway says he is unlikely to be making an imminent move to sign Liverpool

Blackpool is lining up a loan move for Liverpool starlet Danny Wilson, according to the Blackpool
Gazette.
The 19-year-old Scotland international made eight appearances for the Reds last season and was high
on Ian Holloway's wish list in the summer, but a deal couldn't be struck.
The left-sided central defender had recently been set to join Nottingham Forest until the sacking
of Steve McClaren, which has paved the way for a move to Bloomfield Road alongside Liverpool
team-mate Jonjo Shelvey.
Blackpool manager Ian Holloway believes that Charlie Adam has done a 'great job' for Liverpool so
far, and he's excited to see how his former captain performs alongside Steven Gerrard.Holloway is a
great character in the game, and refreshing honesty is always guaranteed whenever he talks about
football.
I remember so very well where I was when Steve McClaren was stood stony-faced beneath an
umbrella in the pouring rain as England surrendered their opportunity to feature at Euro 2008. I
was in a pub in Holloway in North London, and the patrons of the establishment had come together
under a cloud of false hope.
Steven Gerrard's groin is in the news again, Jonjo Shelvey's already made an impact on loan for
his new club, and your nearest Evertonian is still pissed about Jack Rodwell's red card on
Saturday. Plus we've got a bit of catching up to do, so we should probably get to it. Just watch
out for abuse and improvised missiles raining down from the peanut gallery.
Jonjo Shelvey has thanks Liverpool teammate Charlie Adam for his advice after impressing on loan
debut for Blackpool.
The England youth international described his first appearance for the Tangerines as 'perfect'
after scoring from distance with a free kick in a 5-0 romp against Bristol City.
Ian Holloway has reportedly been tracking the teenager for some time, and Shelvey admits the
short-term move came about after conversations with Scottish international Adam, who was Blackpool
captain for their Npower Championship promotion and subsequent relegation last term.
Jonjo Shelvey got his loan spell at Blackpool off to a perfect start by netting on his debut in the
5-0 thumping of Bristol City.
The midfielder played the full 90 minutes for Ian Holloway's side and netted with a superb
free-kick after 66 minutes.
He also created the first goal for Gary Taylor-Fletcher.
Shelvey Seals Blackpool Switch
Liverpool youngster Jonjo Shelvey has sealed a loan switch to Championship outfit Blackpool, the
club has confirmed. The player will spend the rest of the season at Bloomfield Road in order to
further his development. Blackpool have been chasing Shelvey ever since the two clubs agreed a deal
for the transfer of Charlie Adam, and Ian Holloway will be delighted to have finally got his
man.

So, no more Holloway in the EPL this season. So I've been left to troll around the rest of the
