CSKA coach Luboslav Penev suspended a bunch of players on the team recently for late-night
partying.
Then the team went over his head and reinstated the guys.
Penev subsequently resigned and the team is not honoring it.
Craziness.

Whilst Arsene Wenger's managerial ability is regularly praised, his wit does not always seem to be
appreciated. After all, English is the man's third language and yet his cunning with the language
is something I can only aspire to.
Indeed, the only manager who been at the helm of his club for the same amount of time is Fergie.

I was sat on the tube into work this morning and some moron opposite me was reading The Daily Mail.
Anyway, to cut a long story short there appeared the headline 'The New Fritzl' which apparently
referred to Phillip Garrido and his suspected attacks on Jaycee Lee Dugard.
But it struck me, considering the media furore it could be Eduardo.

All the stuff being covered outside the unfriendly confines of the award winning Dirty
Tackle...
Alright, so the angry Hitler videos are totally played out, but this was still funny. Hitler as
a Millwall fan and the one who planned the violence on Tuesday? Sounds about right.

Let's take a moment to try and see into the mind of the man that bought the Manchester United
shirt in this story from The Guardian. He went to a sports store and spent
fifty-five pounds on a replica shirt - fifty-five pounds! - and, instead of having the name of his
favourite player or even his own name printed on the back of it, decided to have "YSB" (which
stands for "You Scouse Bastards", apparently), "96″ and "Not Enough" printed on the back of
it.

subject RUMOR:Osorio probably to last rest of season and a hitler vs nyrb video
im not sure if this information qualifies to be posted on your website but i have a friend who
works with the red bull company and he says that in austria, they will keep osorio until the end of
the season because it wont be "profitable" for the team to have a new coach late in the season
before they sack osorio from his position.

In a week when the heavies of European football struggled to make any significant impact around the
globe*, comes another surprising result straight out of the bowels of Ireland. Shamrock Rovers, a
team whose name sounds more like a wrestling move or a Robbie Williams album title than a football
team, made a good account of themselves and put up an almighty battle against the squillion-dollar
boys of Real Madrid.

The Offside 21 January @ 09:00 AM EST
Hitler, though dead (and for some time), has commented on everything from Tottenham being rubbish
to Tottenham being rubbish again. This time he's quite upset that his minions were unable to sign
Kaka to his rapidly growing stable of players who aren't worth half the price he paid for them.
He's got a mouth that [.

Thanks to Chelsea Offside reader Rosh for pointing me toward this absolutely hilarious clip.
From the movie Downfall outstanding flick, by the way Hitler learns of Lampard's imminent move to
Inter Milan. Warning: This piece contains harsh language, so those 12 and under are encouraged to
check it out.

Adolf Hitler and Malcolm Glazer have a lot in common; both are small coiled springs of
incomprehensible rage, and they most definitely do not respond well to disloyalty. Here then is a
slice of nice internet-conjured amusement, re-subtitling ace war movie
Downfall to capture
the board's rising contempt for a certain Portuguese winger's capricious, money-grabbing
nature:
Beware parents, this clip features some good old-fashioned family racism, as well as language that
would make a sailor blush, so please exercise extreme responsibility before showing this to anyone
under 5'7".

ESPN is pretending that they had nothing to do with the Jemele Hill piece which I commented on
earlier. Rather than displaying the text as was originally published and explaining the error, they
have just suspended her. She has sort of apologized for her comments (she regrets her lack of
judgment and writes that she is a good person while criticizing people who have accused her -
pointing out spelling mistakes and arguing that more racism doesn't help, which is fair).

Warning, non-soccer related:
My post isn't very good. I couldn't really pin down what I was trying to say but did feel like
posting a comment on the issue.
I just read an article which was posted less than 1/2 an hour ago on deadspin, in which ESPN's
Jemele Hill compared cheering for the Celtics to cheering for Hitler.

You may rememeber this truly stunning video, which summed up West Ham's miraculous survival ahead
of Sheffield United last season:
Now this video has been remixed for an altogether different purpose - that of a format war. After
Warner Bros's announcement last week that is was dropping HD-DVD and going with Blu-Ray discs, it
appears that the next 'VHS vs Betamax' row is over before it's really begun.

I'm not sure why this guy even bothered to write this. Well, that's not necessarily true, I have my
suspicions, but that's not the point. It makes about as much sense and has about as much class as
thanking Hitler for being the bad guy in World War II. I mean, if you're going to praise Fernando
Salazar for his effort against the Galaxy in the SuperLiga final, that's one thing, but to drag
Beckham's name into it, especially since he was not only injured, but was clearly crushed that he
couldn't help his side win, is just classless.
