In The Stands' Rolly Pelovangu takes an in-depth look at the former Chelsea, Inter and current Real
Madrid boss and asks the special question: Is Jose Mourinho overrated? Iconoclastic; the act of
challenging established ideas and customs common within a certain place or time and not merely for
the sake of argument.
Carrascosa, Ubaldo Fillol y Julio Ricardo Villa.
Being asked if I'd seen the Honey Badger virals, I knew not what was about to hit the screen.
Some YouTubing later, I get it. It's like The Birdcage meets National Geographic.
This has the potential to become a nauseatingly overdone meme for sports videos on par with the
Hitler reactions which have ruined a very good original movie and presumably a clever original.

Bit of a strange one, but Robin van Persie has had to take to Twitter this morning to refute
claims (largely from jilted Chelsea fans it has to be said) that he celebrated his second goal at
Stamford Bridge with a 'nazi salute'...
Just to play Devil's advocate for a second, the thrusting of the arm into the air could be
construed as a little bit 'Hitler-y' to the untrained eye, though Van Persie was quick to explain
his actions, tweeting thusly:
"It has been brought to my attention of some ridiculous allegations concerning my celebration of
one of my goals.

As if by divine intervention, my whining in the close of yesterday's post about Word Press being
the spawn of Satan is met with immediate resolution our admin servers are suddenly back to their
former glory, which means that we're close to normal service. Even if, as Noel pointed out to me
earlier, the front page is having trouble of letting go of things that happened four days ago and

Former Real Madrid President Ramon Calderon has sensationally compared Jose Mourinho
to evil Nazi Dictator Adolf Hitler!
Calderon was president of Real Madrid between 2006 and 2009 and was speaking after Madrid's
General Manager Jorge Valdano was dramatically sacked after a very public falling out with current
Real boss Jose Mourinho.
Pompei.

Oh, someone took up the call I made last week - last week? I need to post more often, it was only
three posts ago - about mixing sports with politics.
The Egypt Friendly and Why Politics Matter in Sports. Sounds promising. Think I'll go read it.

Nickspinkboots' Note: All the people gnashing their teeth while looking at
the barren Chelsea section of this website can stop that irritating sound now, because we have a
Chelsea writer. Mohit Minhas is an engineering student in my college and,
imitating the natural order in London, is my junior.
