ESPN Announced on Thursday morning that Circle Pines, Minn., resident Jenna Roering has been named
to the 22 women Gatorade State Fall Girls Soccer Players of the Year Team. The Centennial junior
forward scored 34 goals and passed for 12 assists this past season, leading the Cougars (18-2-2) to
the Class AA state semifinals.

In Monday's game report of the Prairie Seeds Academy (PSA) vs. Rochester Lourdes game ,IMS reported
that the State High School League was investigating PSA's sophomore Carlos Boquin. The forward from
Salvador played for PSA last season and was also investigated at the end of the season by the
governing body of high school sports.

Minnesota State High School Soccer Tournament semifinal game of the day on Monday saw the number
one seeded Lakeville North Panthers (18-1-2) with Star Tribune Metro Player of the year, Simone
Kolander take on the #4 seed Wayzata Trojans (17-2-2).
Mall of America Field (Metrodome) Burnsville 5-2 Centennial Two unseeded teams met in the
first 2A Girls' Minnesota State High School semifinal: Burnsville (17-4-0) and Centennial (17-2-2).
These two teams met in their first game of the season when Centennial won 5-3. This time around
Burnsville would come out ahead by a similar margin.

for the number one seed Benilde-St. Margaret Red Knights (18-0-3) to put pressure on the
Totino-Grace Eagles (14-5-2). Benilde came close several times in the early going and finally in
the 11th minute they took the lead.

(20-1-0) was the first team to advance to the 1A Girl's State High School Championship Final after
defeating Rochester Lourdes (18-2-1). It only took five minutes for Blake to pull ahead after some
early offensive exchanges with Rochester.
