Today was the 2nd preseason game of the year for Vancouver and guess what: "20'- old friend Atiba

It looks like members of the Sporting KC Juniors system will have some big decisions to make this
coming fall. The rumor making the run around the internet today is that the US Soccer Developmental
Academy will be making changes to the season, making it longer. The announcement sounds like it
could even come tomorrow.
ESPN Announced on Thursday morning that Circle Pines, Minn., resident Jenna Roering has been named

FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. -- That a Dartmouth player is at the MLS Combine is an accomplishment in
itself. That a Dartmouth player shone on the first day of the event, which is notorious for being
rough for most participants, is even more impressive.
It may be hard to believe, but a young man who's been setting state high school records and turning
the heads of more than a few soccer coaches has been playing with a disability for over three
years. In fact Elliot Cassutt, the 16-year-old Minneapolis high school soccer player who now plays

Christian Hernandez's summer proclamation to ESPN Rise that he would be going pro appears to be
on its way to becoming true, if clues to the identity of a major New Jersey soccer agency's newest
client point in the right direction. Hernandez could become the Philadelphia Union's second ever
Home Grown Player signing, and third acquisition of the 2011-12 MLS Offseason.
You would think, with the economy sucking as much as it does, that more people, even those who
previously retired, might don stripes and referee. High School soccer pays pretty decent (I'd get
$40-$45 a center for high-school ages at the club level - high schools pay close to $70), but I've
been getting emails, and now texts, from assignors desperate for officials - and just not getting
them.

Justin Mapp reflects on the 2011 season,
"I think I've been on some pretty good teams. This Union team was maybe as rewarding as any
season because of how much we improved and got better in a short amount of time. We made the
playoffs and that was a huge step for the franchise.

Zach Pfeffer may not remain the Philadelphia Union's only Home Grown Player signing for long, as
academy star Christian Hernandez may soon join the club's first team.
His junior year of high school has been great for Hernandez, who is the star of the nation's
best high school team in the country.
Sixteen year old Jenna Roering was called into the U.S. U-18′s Women's team a few weeks ago.
Answering that call with a "yes" might seem like an easy decision. But not so for Centennial High

Where did the fall go? Just 6 weeks ago the high school soccer season in Minnesota started. By

I usually wait a period of weeks or months before posting an entry, but I thought, since I'm not
going to add a ton of commentary (see all my rants about NFHS sprinked throughout the over 900

the US, I thought I'd just post a summary to this link:

The Seattle Sounders relative easy access to Clark County, Washington talents (Nick Paludichuk,
Mikhail Doholis) will shortly be coming to an end as the Portland Timbers will be selecting their
U-16 and U-18 players come spring 2012. While some criticized that the Sounders took over a top
level Academy program to springboard their launch, the Timbers are even more aggressive taking over
the whole of the Oregon Olympic Development Program (though still have catchment limits on HGP
signings).

Cleveland. Inside are Fake Sigi and Fake Adrian Hanauer. The car winds through valleys and farms
before finally entering an underground garage in the middle of the countryside.
FS and FA get out and walk into the new Sigi bunker.
