una catástrofe porque todo Tuvalu corre serio riesgo de desaparecer bajo las aguas del Océano

The USMNT -- albeit a much different side than the one that rivaled Spain and Brazil -- needs a
last-second goal from Stuart Holden to beat Haiti (a country smaller than Hawaii).
And Mexico coach Javier Aguirre is kicking at opposing players?

First off, our friend Alice (who suffers good-humoredly my unrelenting pressure to become a

will not have to leave before the USWNT faces Iceland in their second game at the Algarve.
She (and the rest of us) will be able to follow it [.

Brandi Chastain: "We have to remember. New Zealand is a small island in the middle of the
ocean, so they don't get a lot of games."
If only the Ferns moved to a bigger country, everything would be alright. If only Barack Obama

The reviews of the first ever Pan-Pacific Championship are in and we've got a flop on our hands.

two double-headers was a mere 38,215. On top of that, the field turf was horrible.
So what to make of this tournament?

Houston 1-6 Gamba OsakaHas Houston ever been tossed around the way they were last night against J-League Cup Champions
Gamba Osaka? All over the pitch, the team looked the weaker side as Gamba's technical control
combined with their lethal counter-attacks gave them the game. Brazilian striker Bare made the top
defense in MLS look like amateur night with his unbelievable ability to sneak right past his mark
and into one-on-one situations with Pat Onstad.
