Arsenal 4 AZ Akmaar 1
Ronald Koeman's freaky run against Arsenal and English teams in general was abruptly brought to
an end. It could have been a lot worse had Arsene decided to keep a Fabregas keen to get his
hatrick as well as the stand in goal creating machine in Arshavin.
Barely three minutes had gone when a few one touch passes led to Van Persie firing just wide
across goal.

Hello to all of you reading this on a Sunday or Monday or maybe even 3 years time when you are
caught reminiscing about this game making it 20 games unbeaten against Spurs.
Like the title says, 11 seconds, that is all it took for Spurs to crumble and fall to the knees
(literally when Cesc went past half of the Spurs team for his goal).

Match thoughts on our result will follow shortly but here's a unique opportunity? to suggest
your own headline on our win. If you suggest I'm devoid of imagination yes this is partially true
but I'll tell you where I'm stuck or give you suggestions as a base to get this thing started.
You could focus the headline on.

Man United take on
Bolton Wanderers at Old Trafford two weeks after the 2-2
draw with Sunderland.
Wayne Rooney will miss the match after suffering a calf strain against Ukraine for England. The
good news is that Edwin Van Der Sar will return in goal, that will hopefully give United's defence
some confidence.

Never. Even if you have 4 shots, score 4 and the opposition have 20 and outplay out the whole game.
But if you read in some quarters, Wigan were poor, they didn't take their chances and oh, Eboue is
a disgrace.
A big positive we can take from this game is the way we are getting results against so called
'smaller teams'.

Now let us get this straight. I am not so much Anti-England. I willingly supported the English
national team. I cheered for them when they beat Germany and celebrated as much when Beckham scored
that famous free kick against Greece.
But since the retirements of respectable players, mostly Gooners in Adams, Keown and Seaman I have
developed a resentment towards the England international team.

"The man who taught us the way football should be played" Pele
Well if you're going to start a series like this, there is only one person to start with in my
opinion, Sir Stanley Matthews, the wizard of dribble. Matthews is a name that will always be
mentioned as one of the greatest footballers of all time, never mind a legend of the English
game.

FC Barcelona - 0, Osasuna - 1
A second consecutive defeat and a red card to debutant Muniesa spoiled the night in which Fc
Barcelona was handed the La Liga Trophy. The Red Card more than the defeat spoiled the mood as a
defeat was expected with team Guardiola lined up. In my preview to the match, I emphasised on the
importance of having some of our main players on the pitch, especially the defense.
