Arsene Wenger was allegedly seen loading briefcase after briefcase of unmarked bills into each
of the Blackburn players' cars at precisely noon today in every time zone.
The 7-1 home exhibition match between Arsenal and Blackburn in the early kickoff Saturday
contained everything anyone could ask for in a match.

Times are not bright. It is cloudy, cold and rain is expected. The Seattle Sounders are down
three goals and one of their MVP candidates is out for the game. Real Salt Lake doesn't get blown
out with a healthy roster. It is a very Seattle day.
It isn't a very Sounders day though. Three straight US Open Cups, 63 regular season points,
three straight MLS Cup Playoffs appearances, success in the CONCACAF Champions League.
On Arsenal's official website, there is a Robin van Persie fest. Accolades are pouring in to
acknowledge his great run of form and as usual Arsene Wenger is taking the credit for this
performance. here are his comments to the media
"Robin has scored 28 in 27 games and still people tell me he is not a centre forward,"
Wenger said.
Is Alejandro Sabella the new Carlos Bilardo?
Finally, Argentina did a great
official game and won an important 4-1 game vs. Chile in the
World Cup Qualifications. After a great hatrick in the La Liga, Higuain scored a classy hatrick
yesterday. Angel Di Maria did two wonderful assists and reminded us with Burruchaga role in the
1986 WC.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has spoken about his joy at hitting his first hat-trick in England's
comfortable 3-0 victory in Iceland. Arsenal's Oxo Kid was in fine form in Reykjavik to put Stuart
Pearce's team top of Euro 2013 Qualifying Group 8.
The Gunners winger was a handful all night and a quick-fire brace inside 15 minutes put England
in charge in what could have been a very tricky encounter.
The King is Dead ( well, injured ) Long live the King!
The biggest shock in this week of premiership soccer was that Wayne Rooney (the aformentioned King)
didn't play due to a injury acquired from practice. And boy did that show. Of course everyone knew
that Stoke as a host wouldn't be giving anything for free, and in a way the Manchester United
players were lucky to get even the one pt that they got.

How did our lads fare in the recent spate of meaningless important Internationals?
Well, first up was our shiny, new striker from Korea, Mr Young, who opened the week with a
hatrick., and a fine one at that. The first being a quick run behind the last defender and a
powerful volley. The second, a towering header from a corner (watch and learn Chamakh) and for the
third he received the ball in the Theo position then struck a firm drive past the beleaguered
Lebanese keeper.
A team not from England in the English Premier League? Whats that I hear you say?
For those readers from around the world who may not be versed in UK geography, there will be a
very special team playing in the English Premiership next season. A team that isn't actually from
England.
This may surprise a few people but Swansea City is a team from Wales, a country famed for a
sport where people throw around a ball shaped like an egg, famed for actors Catherine Zeta Jones
and Anthony Hopkins, Tom Jones, cockles and laverbread and now finally, a Premiership football
side.
