cumulative results and current strength of each team.
By: Peter EspinosaThirteen hours is the time it takes for the bus to leave Hartman Arena on its way to US Cellular
Arena in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The Wings have made three of their scheduled four trips to play the
Milwaukee Wave this season and before they venture into the champions house again, the Wave will
play in Wichita three times in one week.
The San Antonio Scorpions owner Gordon Hartman revealed in a press conference on Monday, renderings
and timelines for his new stadium which will be erected adjacent to his Morgan's Wonderland.
Hartman's team will play their first season at Hero's Stadium a high school field in the North East
Independent School District which is across the [.

Friday night was a busy night in professional indoor soccer as the MISL Whichita Wings hosted the
Missouri Comets and in PASL action the Cincinnati Kings battled Louisville Lightining while the
Turlock Express faced off against the Revolution Tijuana.
Kings Defeat Louisville 9-3 in US Open PlayLed by a four-goal night by Allen Eller, the Cincinnati Kings defeated the Louisville Lightning,
9-3, Friday night at the Cincinnati Gardens in a PASL league game that also doubled as a US Open
Cup game.
I have gone ahead and updated my list of capped Sporting KC players total. This is a list of
players that have played for Kansas City and been capped by their respective national teams at any
time. New signing Bobby Convey, along with Daneil Cyrus and Peterson Joseph are the only new
players to join the list.
Earlier this month IMS reported on yet another page of the ongoing story of two organizations
attempting to bring pro soccer to San Antonio. Gordon Hartman's San Antonio Scorpions set to start
play this spring in the NASL and Spurs Sports and Entertainment (SS&E) who have only postulated
they would like to start a team with ULS [.

The Wichita Wings look to build off a strong fourth quarter in what turned out to be a close game
against the Milwaukee Wave as they prepare for their first match against the Syracuse Silver
Knights when they ride into Wichita on Friday at 7:35, and a rematch with the Norfolk Sharx on
Saturday at 7:35, both games at Hartman Arena.

Blast improve to 2-1, sit 1/2 game back of first in the MISL Eastern DivisionAfter a grueling overtime win in Missouri the night before, the Baltimore Blast seemed to not show
much fatigue in their 12-6 victory Saturday evening against the Wichita Wings in front of 4,211 at
the Hartman Area.

The Major Indoor Soccer league opened this past week for its 2011-12 season. Per a press release,
nearly 13,000 fans were in attendance across three games from Thursday and Friday nights. MISL
Senior Director Chris Economides was very positive on the opening, "We are absolutely thrilled at
the response of our fans.

Sorry for the double pun. ;) Saturday night a solid game from Colorado resulted in a much needed 3
points. Much like MLS Cup (but not quite as bad) the game wasn't pretty but it was successful.
The Rapids had the better of the play for most of the first half, punctuated by 2 shots on goal
between the 23rd and 26th minute.
After each match the contributors to New England Soccer Today will rate the performances of the
New England Revolution players who made an appearance on a 1 to 10 scale (1 horrendous, 5 average,
10 perfection). This week Sean Donahue and Brian O'Connell contributed ratings for the New England
Revolution's 2-0 victory over FC Dallas.
Here we are with another trip around the MLS! What a week it was. Do you like Red Cards? We got
you covered. Do you like stupid referee decisions? Have we EVER got you covered. Do you enjoy
watching New England piss away a victory? ABSOLUTELY 1000 TIMES YES! Do you like draws? Uh what you
don't?
Join the guys as they look back at DC United's last two matches, including the win against Seattle
and the draw against FC Dallas. The boys also look ahead to Colorado and talk about the rest of the
league.
Both FC Dallas and Portland will be coming off big wins when they meet Sunday at 3pm Pacific for
their first meeting at JELD-WEN Field in Portland. Dallas, coming off an emotional week that saw
them claim at least a little revenge for last year's MLS Cup loss against Colorado, will be looking
to expand on that momentum.
An unfiltered look at exactly what I was thinking during the 1-1 draw between the Chicago Fire
and FC Dallas.
On FC Dallas Right Back Jackson:
•Overwhelmingly active. Is he going to make it to halftime without being gassed? (5′)
•Seriously, this guy's heat map will be absurd.
A lot has transpired in San Antonio over the last several weeks. As was expected the joint
city/county study on professional sports was released several weeks ago. The San Antonio Express
and particularly writer Richard Oliver have been all over this story and doing an excellent job of
digging through the sound bites and getting to the core issues.

Just a few days after making the trek up to Frisco to catch FCD against Houston Baptist
University, I once again found myself on that familiar field 4, this time for a night scrimmage
that saw FCD cruise past SMU 3-1. During the Schellas Hyndman regime, SMU has become a sort of
minor league farm system for FCD recruits, so I was interested in catching this one.
I realized today that I hadn't updated one of my stats this offseason, and since I've been having
some writers block when it came to writing about Houston's move East and the roster rules, I
figured maybe this would break me out of it. Davy Arnaud is 3 games away from the 200 game mark and
should easily hit that this season.
The proposed North American Soccer League team in San Antonio ran into more hurdles this week.
Gordon Hartman's team Soccer for a Cause has been trying to gather support to find the $8 million
he says he needs from the city and county to build a stadium on STAR Soccer Complex, a stadium he
hopes to have built in time when his proposed team starts play in 2012.
Gordon Hartman and his North American Soccer League team the Scorpions held a press conference
in San Antonio on Wednesday. They announced what the organization called a major sponsorship with
Nike. However, the Beaverton, OR based company did not send a representative to the press
conference.
An image displayed at today's press conference shows what STAR Soccer Stadium could look like if
the public funds $8 million dollars of the costs.
The battle for San Antonio stepped up one more notch on Monday when owner Gordon Hartman
announced the winning name for his NASL Team that will take the field in 2012.
Continuing some of my stat updating before tomorrow's opener for India in the Asian Cup, here's an

"Victory or Death." That's the slogan on the shield of the Crocketteers, a soccer supporters
group in San Antonio, Texas. Those words are said to belong to William Travis as his group prepared
to defend the Alamo. But they could also be the words of two sparing soccer leagues as they both
try to claim the San Antonio area as their own.
