October was a tough month for Boro. It started with 3 straight defeats to the likes of
Scunthorpe, AFC Wimbledon and Huddersfield. It soon picked up though and the win against Charlton
kicked off another unbeaten run.

It was not a good weekend for Arsenal, so Richard and Ginge decide to pile on and try to figure
out what's going on in North London and if the end of the Wenger era is coming. We also ridicule
the FIFA World Rankings and review the Group Stage draw of the Champions League. Ginge Learns to
Properly Pronounce the Names of English Football Teams continues with League One where Hartlepool
and Wycombe await to trip up our Yankee co-host.
Sorry for the tardiness of this post. I don't really have an excuse, as it's not like our boys
were up to much...
Diomansy Kamara came off the bench in the 51st minute in Leicester City's 1-1
draw with Doncaster Rovers on Saturday.
Kagisho Dikgacoi did not dress in Crystal Palace's 1-1 draw at Hull City on
Saturday.
I'm not generally a fan of points deductions, as they are the one punishment guaranteed to
punish the club as an entity (as well as the players and fans), without really punishing the people
responsible for the transgression in the first place. However, most of the points deductions in
recent times have been off the field transgressions.
Eddie Johnson started and played 54 minutes in Preston North End's 1-1 draw
with QPR on Saturday. He registered one shot on goal. Last Tuesday he started and played 64 minutes
in the Lilywhites' 2-2 draw at Watford.
Bjorn Helge Riise started and played 90 minutes in Sheffield United's 1-0 loss
at Crystal Palace on Saturday.
