I'm not mean to dampen the mood of everyone here, but I guess many of you out there must be
disappointed by this time of the day when we are only made known of the opening round instead of
the FULL fixture list of this season S.
I normally hate Harry Potter references, but I'm too happy to care today.
Editor's Note: This match review was written by one of our frequent commentators, SJGumby. A big
thanks to Gumby for taking the time to write this, since all 4 of us were unavailable to recap.

Hope Solo und ihre US-Nationalmannschaftskollegin Alex Morgan sind seit dem Ende der
Frauen-Weltmeisterschaft 2011 in Deutschland gefragte Damen.

I saw the final Harry Potter film at the weekend and must admit I was moved. Voluntarily. Away
from the adult Potter fans next to me who, had I carried on listening to them laughing smugly at
obscure references, would have forced me to unleash a couple of killing curses.
In the 2006 book Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, Ron Weasly was struggling with low
self-confidence. Harry then pretends to give Ron felix felicis, a potion that makes one lucky.
Believing that he has taken in a dose of liquid luck, Ron performs brilliantly in the day's
Quidditch match. This is a classic example of a placebo effect, an improvement in performance due

All week we will be unveiling the winners of our Team of the Year voting with a mixture of regular
and guest writers. Good things tend to come in two: Bert and Ernie, pairs of socks, Franco Baresi
and Paolo Maldini. Following in the footsteps of the later this season have been two outstanding
centerbacks for AC Milan, Thiago Silva and Alessandro Nesta.
Has anyone else seen Fever Pitch? You know the scene when the couple are lying in bed and
she's trying to plan a holiday, but he won't. And she gets angry because the reason he won't is
that it might clash with an Arsenal game...
I realised this morning: that is me!
I've got loads planned for July.

Kansas City Wizards. The next, they were Sporting KC. Of course it's never that simple. This is
that story.

I hate the word 'brand' more than anything.
With South Korea waiting until the final possible moments for their heroics and ultimately it
not panning out, Australia may have taken this as a warning, getting their foot on the pedal early
very early. All of four minutes into the game Harry Potter Kewell put them one goal to the
good.
