While the race for the Premier League title hots up, let's not forget there is plenty of
football being played outside the top 20 teams in England.
Here are seven stand-out players from the Championship, all of whom could be playing in the top
flight next season:
Albert Adomah
Despite making almost 200 league appearances for non league Harrow Borough and League Two side
Barnet, Adomah was a largely unknown quantity when he arrived at Bristol City in the summer of
2010.

One of the more pleasing aspects of modern life is the plurality of media that is presented to
us. The internet has given us a plethora of options for reading, watching and listening that would
have been unimaginable twenty years ago, and we should be grateful for the fact that, no matter
what our particular inclinations might be, whether serious or irreverent, whether demanding fact or
fantasy, we will usually be able to find it, if we look hard enough.
This weekend's non-league videos of the week come from the Blue Square Premier and the Second
Qualifying Round of the FA Cup. In the Blue Square Premier, AFC Telford United have reacted
positively to their promotion from the Blue Square North at the end of last season and sit in
mid-table in the division at present and they were at home against Hayes & Yeading United, who were
the beneficiaries of Kettering Town's generosity and subsequent implosion on Tuesday night.

This week's Non-League Videos Of The Week see us return to the FA Cup, which reached the First
Qualifying Round the third round of matches in this year's competition. This round sees the first
appearance of the clubs of the Premier Divisions of the Isthmian, Southern and Northern Premier
Leagues, so there are some familiar faces taking their first bow in this competition in this
round.

Shroot has impressed whilst on trial at Stevenage
Robin Shroot is finally a Stevenage player. After 2 weeks on trial and four pre-season
friendlies, Shroot has managed to convince Graham Westley that he is worth taking a gamble on. A
two year contract has been agreed and the former Birmingham City winger will go into tonight's
friendly at Hampton & Richmond as a permanent member of the Boro squad.
What a strike by Pa Saiku Kujabi, who is on trial at QPR, in their 1-0 win over Harrow Borough.
Even if he doesn't make the Premier League team or our fantasy rosters, he has this YouTube
highlight forever. Take ... Continue reading →

The Premier League season is still going and the Football League season ended at the weekend,
but the non-league play-offs have already begun and, in some cases, have already ended. The Ryman
League Premier Division play-off final was played on Saturday between Tonbridge Angels and
Lowestoft Town, with the semi-finals having seen Tonbridge having beaten Harrow Borough and
Lowestoft Town having won a local derby against Bury Town.
We have a lot of videos to get through for this week's non-league videos of the week, as the
non-league season comes to an end and the end of season play-offs begin. First up, comes a match
from the race for the play-off places in the Blue Square South. With Braintree Town already
promoted to the Blue Square Premier as champions of the division, most eyes on the last day of the
season turned to the question of who will be joining them.
It has been another busy week for Croydon Athletic of the Ryman League Premier Division. This is
a club which has had, in all the wrong ways, a quite extraordinary season and their supporters
could be forgiven for wondering whether fate is conspiring against their club. Following their
promotion from Division One South of the league at the end of last season, it has felt as if
everything that could go wrong for them has gone wrong and, after the events of the last few days,
the future of the club could again be considered to be hanging in the balance after the collapse of
the company that stepped in as recently as December to save them.
