31.01.2012 - El Club Atlético Boca Juniors inauguró dos nuevas escuelas de fútbol, una en Indonesia y otra en Paiporta, municipio de Valencia, España. Bajo la modalidad de franquicias y con estas últimas incorporaciones, suma 24 escuelas de fútbol alrededor del globo.
Por medio de una alianza con el Club local Pro Duta de Indonesia, Boca Juniors se une a potencias como Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester y Real Madrid en la expansión de su marca en ese país, uno de los principales emergentes sobre el desarrollo del fútbol.

NEW YORK (AP) -- The United States will open qualifying for the 2014 World Cup at home against Antigua and Barbuda on June 8.

The Americans, trying to qualify for their seventh straight trip to soccer's championship,
play at Guatemala on June 12, FIFA announced Wednesday.

FIFA conducted the World Cup qualification draw in Rio de Janeiro on Saturday.
Under the CONCACAF Qualifying system, there will now be a 2nd Round group stage that the United States will not be involved in. The USA enters in Round 3, where they will face fellow seeded team Jamaica along with the winners of Round 2's Groups E and F.

Keon Daniel made the trip to Greece with the Philadelphia Union, according to a report by the Trinidad Express.

A 2-1 win against Bermuda gave Suriname the 12th and final place at the 2011 CONCACAF U-20 Championship, which is set for Guatemala from April 3-17.
The wins finished Suriname atop its second-round qualifying group with nine points, while Bermuda, Netherlands Antilles and Guyana had three each.
