21 years old Mexican striker Carlos Vela has followed the Champions League clash on Tuesday
night in the stands with fellow teammate Cesc Fabregas.
Vela was not available to help the Gunners to overcome a one nil deficit against Porto Football
Club after returning from international duty with a short-term injury.

I still feel absolutely sickened by events at the Britannia Stadium yesterday.
The image of Aaron Ramsey lying there in agony won't leave my mind. I feel for the boy so much. I
don't mind admitting that I had tears in my eyes and was on the verge of crying.
I feel distraught for him.

Many writers of English football generally don't need too much ammunition to exalt Wayne Rooney
into the echelon of elite practitioners in their sport.
After scoring twice against AC Milan midweek, his name was omnipresent in editorials on and offline
making arguments for his graduation.
Before each season, pieces invariably surface with angles conjecturing just how and why this year
will be different than every other when similar claims were also made.

The Pick: When I hear the name Vieira, I don't think about a lady by the name
of Meredith. Nope, as a lover of the beautiful game (which is not Who Wants to Be a
Millionaire), I think of Patrick Vieira. Vieira is as well known for his fiery temper as he
is for his stellar play in midfield, which is a shame because he deserves more praise.

Former Arsenal star Paul Merson believes that Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez is lucky to still
be in a job at Anfield following his side's traumatic Premier League form and early cup exits, but
believes that the top job at Juventus, with whom the Spaniard has been linked, would represent a
step down in his career.

Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas has revealed that the most memorable match which he has ever watched
as a football fan was Liverpool's epic Champions League final victory against AC Milan in 2005.
The 22-year-old Gunner recalled how Rafael Benitez's side battled back from a 3-0 deficit at
half-time to take the match to extra time before eventually sealing the game in a dramatic penalty
shootout.

his homeland, has been earmarked as 'the new Thierry Henry' and admittedly does have similar
qualities to the former Gunner including blistering [.

We Are Gunner Be Champions!
It took Arsenal 145 days to regain the top slot from their trans-London rivals Chel@Sea, and boy
did they cream it or what!? A colossal display against Bolton in the mid-week ensured temporary
stint at the summit for the Gunners. I say temporary as Chel@Sea still have a game in hand,
something we prided having for most parts this season.

If you kno me then you know how much I love Arsenal. Still, I consider myself a new fan. Having
grown up mostly in the US, I had little professional soccer influence despite playing for much of
my childhood. It wasn't until college that a friend introduced me to a gem of a video game,
Konami's Winning Elevel 8.

Chelsea are one of a number of clubs tracking Middlesbrough star Adam Johnson.
The only concrete offer thus far, however, has been from Wolves, but their £6.5m bid is

In bringing Sol Campbell back Arsene Wenger has done something that I never thought he would ever
do and re-signed a former player.
Wenger is a stubborn man but perhaps this sudden change of policy is the sign of a person who will
even go against his own principles to bring back silverware to us.

20 years old Mexican Carlos Vela was a key player yesterday for Arsene Wenger's Gunner Side as
he produced two very crucial assists to help Arsenal to turn around things in the FA Cup clash
against West Ham at Upton Park.
Vela has handed a start from the Arsenal Manager to get match time and finally he repaid the
French man with two remarkable assists, first as Alex Song find Carlos Vela in the box and as the
Mexican lost control over his body the play was almost finished, but he found a way to keep his
balance to nudge the ball to Welsh teenager Aaron Ramsey and the young lad slotted home with a
firing effort into the far corner.

You have to be really bad to be suspended for the deed that Villareal midfielder Robert Pires
was suspended for earlier this season. It wasn't for a few too many yellow cards or even a red
card for that matter. Pires was suspended for his choice of negative words that he used with
an official following a tough loss early in the season to Xerez 2-1.

Well, the polls on the goalkeeper position are closed, and our winner, in a very, very tight
vote, was Jens Lehmann, taking 63 (52%) votes to David Seaman's 58 (48%). Manuel
Almunia picked up a solitary pity vote. Next up: right-back.
Not too many options here, either, although I think it does present an interesting dilemma about
what your criteria is in selecting who should be on the "All-Decade" team.

so our options are limited.
