Will Spain Finally Win The World Cup?

G4Goal - football (soccer) site for fans who can blog, read news, watch footbal 16 November @ 04:37 PM EST

Ever since I started watching football many years ago now, when it came time for the World Cup, Spain were always considered a dangerous threat by many pundits that they would win the tournament, only to let everyone down time and time again. Spain are likely to have one of the best selling World Cup Jerseys in the tournament, but the best they have finished is 4th place in a World Cup and that was in 1950.

Liverpool 2-0 Manchester United

The Offside - Olympique Lyonnais 29 July @ 10:34 PM EST

Lyon are continuing their spending spree by shelling out €13m for St. Etienne's Bafetimbi Gomis (plus another €2m in incentives). His cool name and awesome hair will be further augmenting Lyon's ever expanding strikeforce. I'll have a post featuring relevant information and stats about him once he has his press conference, but for now, let's talk about how Lyon's mercato is going.

It's been clear for quite a while that Andriy Shevchenko will leave Stamford Bridge this summer and even though the Ukrainian striker was linked with the return to Dynamo Kyiv, the latest reports are suggesting he could join Fenerbahce after all. BRASIL CAMPEÓN, UNA VEZ MAS

TREMENDAMENTE MOTIVADOS 28 June @ 03:42 PM EST
Click to continue reading...

Spain versus South Africa

In an otherwise uninteresting match to decide 3rd place at the 2009 confederations cup. South Africa upset Spain who then upset South Africa who then upset Spain once again.

You could be forgiven for falling asleep watching this match as both sides seemed drained or uninterested for the most part.

Luca Toni to Fenerbahce?

Five Zero Productions (BETA) 12 June @ 02:32 PM EST
If Fenerbahce manages to sign Luca Toni, as it has been reported, it will probably be the most sensational transfer of the season (depending on Galatasaray's signings).
