Futbolita 06 November @ 07:55 AM EST
Julio Grondona and Pirates of the Caribbean star,
Veron, presented Argentina's 2010 World Cup jerseys yesterday. So what's the
verdict, futbolitas? D'ya like it enough to wear it? Also, Veron had to
be nice when they asked him what he thought of the ongoing Bilardo-Dona rivalry.

Remember how last year we were complaining about viral football videos. About how they'd jumped the
shark because it was all CGI and lies. Well, we take it back. The latest viral I've seen has a
commercial interest, in that it's designed to promoted English indie band Kasabian's new single
"Underdog".

For the love of football!
This looks like too much fun. Â What footballer wouldn't want to have a go at a game like
this?
Play Guitar Hero by kicking soccer balls against a warehouse wall? Â The scale of this takes
video gaming to another level, and looks silly fun. Â It would take a handful of good footballers
and some practice to manage a decent score, but wouldn't it be a blast to try?

Great, great blog stuff gathered by Jose over at The Times. Apparently the team had a bunch of
little campers in training and revealed some fun facts.
Here are the highlights:
- Taylor Graham -- I think he said he likes giraffes and Sasquatches.
- Zach Scott -- is a world class bowler.

Over the last fortnight we have seen an almost unprecedented media circus surrounding
ManchesterCity and AC Milan's Ricky Kaka. What has been strange though is the unusual silence
emanating from Citeh's most famous supporter, Noel Gallagher throughout the course of the whole
debacle. Never fear though because his two-pence worth are, as ever, more than worth the wait.

Noel Gallagher's great for so many reasons, the
latest of which is his enormously smug response to his beloved Manchester City being taken over by
the stupidly rich Dubai consortium. The tables, is seems, have finally been turned on arch rivals
Manchester United, with the future for once perhaps looking rosier for the blue half of the
city.

This is what virtuoso sounds like. Did you know that when EVH was young, he'd play with his back to
the audience so no one could copy his technique? Freaky huh. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you, the
greatest guitar solo of all time. 'Eruption' - let's see ya Guitar Hero this children...

Consider yesterday's post a double-fault. Not that I'm apologizing for my befuddlement about the
media fascination over Wimbledon, but even before I read the mainly negative comments this morning
I knew something was amiss. My original idea simply wasn't articulated properly and ended up coming
off as petty whining.

In order to provide it's fans with the most rockin' like Dokken half-time show since, well forever, the Rapids are hosting a riff-tastic Guitar Hero III contest. Before the June 21st match prospective virtual guitar gods will face off in one of the stadium bars --The Cantina-- for the chance to compete in a 1-on-1 battle for Colorado's rock & roll soul; the 2 finalist will get (sort of) live the stadium rock dream and to exchange face-melting moves on stage during half-time in front of the DSG Park faithful.

Here at STT we love Slaven Bilic for so many reasons, not just because he has a cool name, speaks a
hundred languages, and smokes. If you ever needed convincing though, look no further than his
preparations for guiding his Croatia side into Euro 2008. While plenty of other coaches are wasting
their time scouting other teams and drawing up complex tactical playbooks that their players won't
ever understand, Bilic has been in the studio with his rock band Rawbau recording a new anthem for
the Croatians to walk out to at this summer's Championships.

As anyone with any experience will tell you, learning to play the guitar can be pretty frustrating,
but as with everything else, is also ultimately all the more rewarding when you finally do master
it. Don't tell that to Wayne Rooney however, as after just a couple of months of weekly music
lessons, the Manchester United star has decided it's far too difficult and has cancelled any desire
to pursue it.
