PHILADELPHIA -- What a difference 10 months have made for Brek Shea.
Last October, Shea appeared unsure, uncomfortable and out of place in his debut for the U.S.
men's national team, which came just miles down the road at PPL Park against Colombia.
After a lackadaisical first half performance that saw U.S. Men's National Team trailing Mexico
1-0, new head coach Jurgen Klinsmann brought the U.S. back to life with much needed substitutes
after the hour mark, leading to an eventual 1-1 draw at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia,

Jurgen Klinsmann's coaching debut with the U.S. men's national team didn't start out too well,
but it finished on a high note.

The Mexican Federation announced the 20-player roster for the match on Aug. 10 against Mexico, and
if there was any thought that they would be taking an easy approach after the Gold Cup, think
again. Minus the injured Javier Hernandez, the Mexicans have all the players who started in their

If there wasn't already enough of a cloud surrounding Mexico and its players' use of
clenbuterol, now comes word that more of the players on the Gold Cup-winning team reportedly tested
positive for the banned substance.
According to Mexican outlet Medio Tiempo, FIFA Medical Director Jiri Dvorak announced Friday
that four more of the 14 Mexicans that took the anti-doping test prior to the tournament have
tested positive, bringing the total to nine players.

As Mexico prepares for its Gold Cup semifinal game against Honduras, it has reinforcements in
tow.
Coach Jose Manuel de la Torre has called upon defenders Paul Aguilar (pictured above), Hector
Reynoso and Hiram Mier to take the place of their suspended teammates for the remainder of the Gold
Cup.
Reinforcements should be on the way for Mexico's Gold Cup roster.
FIFA will allow Mexico to replace the five players who were suspended for a positive test for
clenbuterol, according to the Associated Press.
Guillermo Ochoa, Francisco Rodriguez, Edgar Duenas, Sinha and Christian Bermudez all tested
positive for the substance on May 21, blaming the test results on contaminated meat.
The five players on Mexico's Gold Cup roster who tested positive for clenbuterol were re-tested
last Friday, and all five had their tests come up negative for the banned substance.
The Associated Press reports that, according to a statement released by the Mexican Football
Federation, Guillermo Ochoa, Francisco Rodriguez, Sinha, Edgar Duenas and Christian Bermudez have
asked that a "B" test of the initial positive sample, taken on May 21, be conducted.

players tested positive for a banned substance. The players involved are goalkeeper Guillermo
Ochoa, defenders Francisco Rodriguez and Edgar Duenas and midfielders Antonio Naelson 'Sinha' and
Christian Bermudez.
Five players on Mexico's national team were suspended from the Gold Cup, and from international
football, because of positive results from a doping test conducted on 21 May. The implicated
players are Francisco Rodríguez, Antonio "Sinha" Naelson, Edgar Dueñas, Cristián Bermúdez, and
Guillermo Ochoa.
Mexico's chances of repeating as Gold Cup champions just got a whole lot harder with the news
this afternoon that starting goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa and four of his teammates have been removed
from the Mexican national team after testing positive for the substance "Clenbuterol".
