With the season is moving towards the final stages, I thought it was high time I produced a follow up to last year's ‘Brazil: the talent factory' post. Once again, there has been an abundance of exciting new players that have caught the eye in their first season in Série A.

Of the players I picked out last year; Palmeiras' Keirrison was bought by Barcelona and has been loaned out to Benfica.

Cruzeiro forward Kleber has claimed Liverpool are attempting to sign him.
The Brazilian striker ruled out moving to Anfield on Sunday, but yesterday performed a u-turn by insisting negotiations were taking place and, according to local reports, the Reds would pay £6m for his services.

Cruzeiro's Kléber

Cruzeiro striker, Kléber, has claimed that Liverpool have out in a bid for his services. "I have a proposal from Liverpool for 7 million euros. We are analysing [it]" said the striker on SporTV's Arena programme in Brazil.

The forward was recently signed by Cruzeiro in swap deal with Guilherme who moved to Dynamo Kiev.
