Javier Aguirre got a monkey off his back. After a struggle of a tournament which saw El Tri
struggle with the likes of Nicaragua and Panama and also need PKs to beat Costa Rica, the Mexican
"B" team triumphed today at Giants Stadium.

after being suspended for three matches for his run-in with Panama's Ricardo Phillips. The
suspension means Aguirre would return to the Mexico sidelin no sooner than the Gold Cup final. If
