The Minnesota Thunder ended their 2009 season on Sunday with a loss to the Charleston Battery.
The team ended up in 8th place in the standings, one spot out of the playoffs. Their final record
was 7-13-10.
IMS checked in with a number of players at the end of Sunday's game and asked them to give their
assessment of the season and what they planned on doing in the offseason as well as where they
stand contractually.

Thunder with impressive display of offense in 5-2 defeat of Islanders.
The Minnesota Thunder continued their climb out of the basement of the USL standings with an
exciting 5-2 victory over the visiting Puerto Rico Islanders. With the win, Minnesota slipped past
struggling Miami FC in the standings and moved into 8th place, just one spot below the Vancouver
Whitecaps who currently hold the 7th and final playoff spot in USL-1.

Railhawks on Sunday, two Minnesota player were selected for the USL-1 Week #10, Team Of The week.
This marks the first time this season that 2-Thunder players have received the honor in the same
week.
Goalkeeper Nic Platter collects the award and for the second time in 2 weeks.

evening. 3 points would have allowed the team to pull even with the Montreal Impact and ahead of
Cleveland. However, try as they did, the Thunder were not able to put one in the back of the net
despite improved play and 4 great chances in the first half.
