Who won the 2008 U.S. Presidential election?
Easy answer is of course, Barack Obama.
But, would he have won without Michelle Obama?
Probably not.
He took in more than 90% of the African-American vote in 2008 according to polling records.
La Liga Talk recently sat down for an exclusive one-on-one interview with ESPN Deportes soccer
analyst (and World Cup star) Mario Kempes to discuss El Clasico as well as his memories of playing
in Spain with Valencia.
Here's the interview:
DH: Who is the better manager?
Javier "Chicarito" Hernandez is becoming one of the fans favorite at Manchester United
especially with his habit in scoring important goals for the Red Devils since arriving at Old
Trafford this season.
With his current bright future, no one wouldn't thought that the 23-years-old Mexican actually
almost ended his footballing career back when he was still playing in his country's league around
three years ago.

Blood brothers Carra and G-Nev
Famous Scouse-hater and Mancunian legend Gary Neville once said "I can't stand Liverpool, I
can't stand the people, I can't stand anything to do with them," the kind of unbridled malevolence
which has made the former United and England star something of a hate figure on Merseyside (not
surprisingly).
Just like walking in your grandparents making out, this one is going to get real ugly real fast.As
some of you may remember, Switzerland's FC Sion had illegally lured Egyptian keeper Essam El-Hadary
away from Al-Ahly in 2008 while still under contract and had been subsequently punished. Part of
that punishment is no player transfers may play for the club in competition.

The subject of Pies' Friday afternoon tribute this week just so happens to be one of my all-time
favourites, ever since my grandparents bought me a knock-off 'Batistuta #9′ Fiorentina shirt home
from a market stall in Venezuela (of all places) at the age of ten or eleven.
Hello, everyone.
I'm sure you're excited to hear that I have survived Hurricane Irene and will resume
posting/coverage shortly. That said, my current residence (Bristol, RI) is without power for the
foreseeable future. I'm writing this from my grandparents' house, just to provide an update.

Finally, after a long courtship with the Chicago Fire front office, the former Mexican

When sports journalists describe Equatorial Guinea as an unknown quantity, I wonder if that's just
their way of saying they haven't wanted to look too closely at the team and the country's football
association.
Since they upset Nigeria in the 2008 African Women's Championship, they haven't been much of a
mystery to followers of African women's football.
Peter Harrison is refusing to give up the fight in his legal wrangle with Liverpool striker Andy
Carroll.
Peter Harrison, Andy Carroll's former agent, withdrew his case against him on legal advice at an FA
arbitration hearing last week.
But Harrison is now demanding a personal FA hearing over his claim that Carroll was in breach of
contract when he switched the handling of his affairs to rival agent Mark Curtis.
I hope everyone is dried out from the storms drenching Qwest field this weekend. The 1-1 tie
against the Portland Timbers was a bit of a let-down for sure, but it was a decent result
considering the huge hit injuries have had on the Seattle Sounders. One thing that certainly wasn't
a let down was the massive tifo put together by the ECS for the match.
Newcastle said last week that Hatem Ben Arfa had been given compassionate leave to visit his
grandparents in Tunisia. Hatem Ben Arfa - due back this week in Newcastle Ben Arfa was due to

Monday, but the 23 year-old has been granted compassionate leave to return to see his grandparents
in the troubled North African country.
While drawing players from various parts of South America and naturalising them as citizens through
their parents or grandparents, Italian football has benefited hugely over the last century from the
repatriation of numerous members of the Italian diaspora. Raimondo Orsi, Jose Altafini and Omar
Sivori are among the most famous members of an ever increasing group of immigrants to don the
famous.
NEW YORK, NY No one can accuse Bob Bradley of cutting corners in his quest to find a striker who
can actually score goals. Now the search has extended all the way to Siberia. On Friday, the U.S.
Soccer Federation announced the late addition of Eugene Starikov, 22, to the national team's
California camp.
