It's the offseason in Columbus, and that means rumors about players and contracts and whatnot
are as easy to find as a Buckeye hoodie. Robbie Rogers seems to have become the first player to
fall victim of fan speculation.
First, to grease the wheels of gossip, Robbie himself tweetered that he was on his way out of
Columbus.

There might just be a Kickette brawl, folks. This morning our Spanish amigas from Poprosa
alerted us to cougar-on-the-Migi-prowl Patricia Conde and her advances towards our coveted
pillow lips. He's 23 – she's 30.
Rumour has it, after being introduced recently by Iker "the evil matchmaker" Casillas, they went
shopping (sob) and to the movies.

Friday has arrived, only one day to get through until we play again.
I am just glad November 5th is now over for another year – I don't like Fireworks!!
Sadly though, nowadays November 5th seems to go on for about a week, so I anticipate more
tonight and over the weekend
Few odd bits of gossip around late yesterday evening and early today.

I am still smiling after the wonderful result we 'fought' for the other night. Many 'paps' said
we were lucky as Liverpool should have had a penalty in the last few seconds when Big Phil thought
he was playing netball, and maybe they are right, but I think we should have been awarded one too
when Watt was held back in the penalty area so justice done.

Now here's something interesting. United Soccer League's CEO Nick Papadakis told a Canadian radio
station that "the negotiations are finished" and Vancouver and Montreal are out of the league for
2010. Neither club has issued a statement though so perhaps this is just a hardball tactic on the
part of the honchos at USL 1.

I am constantly torn as to what subject matter or theme belongs on moltocalcio and what doesnt.
Between Roma and Gli Azzuri i constantly debate what theme or identity my blog should develop. Like
me my blog has a meandering quality that would make a clown on a zig zag bike proud. I can go
tactics to sometimes gossip to irresponsible speculation.

City beat AFC Totton yesterday 3-2 in the FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round. It was an exciting game
with an exciting (£12,500) pot of prize money for the winner. There was lots of exciting play and
definitely an exciting finish. For reasons of my own the second half and the hour following the
match were especially exciting.

The Salady Bits GossipAlso, quick line from The Daily Star - they report that Jamie O'Hara will be
allowed to stay at Portsmouth after his loan deal runs out in January. I know it's just gossip but
worth reporting just so you have it on your radar. Maybe he's not necessarily going back to Spurs
in January.

Believe it, Kickettes. You are not dreaming. Word has reached us that after Dolce & Gabbana shot
their infamous 2006 campaign with the Italian National Team some extra photoshop work had to be
done in post-production.
What kind of photoshop re-touching, you ask? Contrary to what you may assume (that the graphic
design fairies needed to bump up the shorts of someone not quite up to scratch), it's quite the
opposite.

The life of an underwear model can't be good: subsiding on protein shakes and lettuce leaves,
constantly looking over your well toned shoulder to see which hot young thing is prowling around in
a g-string, not to mention the cost of laser hair removal.
It's a sobering moment for Victoria Beckham and David Beckham they're being replaced as the
faces of Armani Underwear by none other than Cristiano Ronaldo and Megan Fox.

Is there is no rest for the World Cup-bound? In addition to tomorrow night's qualifier finale
against Costa Rica, the Yanks will march on to Aarhus in November for a friendly versus Denmark on

I say "bring it".

International week always feels a bit odd when the season has just got going. You've just
about got used to two games a week, Premier League, Champions League, Carling Cup plus whatever
else you can find to watch and then it all stops for the internationals.Â
Luckily for England it wasn't a crucial match over in the Ukraine and Rio Ferdinand has to count
himself lucky that yet another mistake was only seen by a few that bothered to pay £10 to watch
the game on the internet.

It is fair to say that Paul Tomkins is one of the leading Liverpool writers out there (Brian Reade,
Oliver Kay, Tony Barrett and Tony Evans are the others), a reputation built over the years
initially on various forums and then on the club's official website. He is also probably the most
prolific author of books about Liverpool FC having published some eight books in the space of four
years.

Fortune and poor Portsmouth finishing rather contributed to Everton's three point haul. With
one genuine shot at goal and nothing much else to discuss on the long drive home, I wonder why
Moyes chooses to restrain the plethora of attacking options now available to him.

Wigan were given a right thrashing in a second half rout which saw first goals of the season
for Nani and Berbatov and a debut goal for Owen.
There were plenty of positives to take from a match where we scored 5 goals it is a gross
understatement; after all, following the sluggish start, one can only take positives from such a
result but the most intriguing thing about the match for me was the absence of Michael Carrick, who
didn't even make it to the bench.
