As you know, Sounder at Heart does not have any official supporters' group affiliation. We do,
however, consider ourselves friends of most of them. If you'd like to know any of them better, we
highly recommend that you attend one of their two end-of-year parties. As it turns out, Kasey
Keller is scheduled to be at both of them.
Legendary boxing Heavyweight Champion Joe Frazier lost his battle against Liver Cancer today,
just a month after being diagnosed with Liver Cancer, the killer decease that effects so many
Families throughout the World today.
'Smokin' Joe as he was fondly known was a winner of Olympic gold in Tokyo '64 and held the World
Heavyweight title fro 1970 to 1973 when the sport was at it's best.

With the 30th September release date crowning on the horizon, the FIFA 12 Hype Machine is ramped
all the way up to eleven at the moment and the EA virals are coming thick and fast the lastest
seeing Hope Solo squaring off against Steve 'kinda like a gorilla and a leopard' Nash in a duel to
the death game of pixel-based football.

Kickettes? It has become evident in recent weeks that we are not paying enough attention to
Landon Donovan. The LA Galaxy and USMNT midfielder tends to be overshadowed by his prettier and
taller (see above) team mates and in lieu of having anything newsworthy to write about, we
have decided that we must immediately conduct an investigation into Landon's recent activities to
find out whether we've missed anything particularly manly or interesting.
U.S. Open Semifinal Tickets Available
There are still a handful of tickets for the Aug. 30 U.S. Open Cup semifinal against FC Dallas
available through the Gorilla FC store. They are $18.50 for members and $21 for nonmembers. If
you're interested in going, this may be your best shot.
The big brains behind the Freakonomics franchise have taught us a couple of important lessons
about life. One is this: sometimes the events in our world can be reduced to simple math.
That's why I'm a bit skittish about the U.S. chances today against France today at Borussia
Park.
Seattle Sounders Show Fort Solidarity
Should have clipped this sooner, but the Revs next opponents in Seattle showed their own support
of the Fort on Thursday. Note the banner to the right of the "Gorilla FC" tifo that says "Free the
Fort." This was on national TV on Thursday.
I'm greatly appreciative of those who found yesterday's post worthwhile despite the lack of
anything happening that anyone actually cares about as I mentioned, trying to find news and/or
inspiration on a daily basis during the summer months is absolutely maddening, especially when
you're trying to find news that isn't a rumor that makes you want to stab someone.
With two months until the match, ECS needed just 28 minutes to sell out their allotment of 430
tickets for the Seattle Sounders' away match against the Portland Timbers on July 10. The tickets
were sold as part of a package that also included bus travel to the Jeld-Wen Field and were made
available to ECS members only.
Real Salt Lake can make history.
With a series win over Monterrey in the CONCACAF Champions League final, Real Salt Lake would
become the first MLS team to compete in the FIFA Club World Cup, and would be the first MLS team to
win a CONCACAF title since the tournament went to a home-and-away format in 2002.
Happy Friday everyone. The Seattle Sounders are back in action today at the stadium formerly
know as Qwest field as they attempt to stop an early slide to the 2011 season. The Houston Dynamo
are not the same side that defeated the Sounders in the 2009 playoffs. The Dynamo are in a
rebuilding year having brought in new players to replace those lost to contracts overseas.
It begins tonight. A third season in Rave Green, a third season on the premier national tv
partner, a third season searching for a greater trophy. Tonight, Hollywood and Madison Avenue and
Bristol all come to Seattle. Tonight, under floodlights 36,000 stand proudly.
It begins with Arlo White, and Adrian Healey calling the action.
Some people questioned why trialists weren't included in the estimated depth chart. This was two
fold, most of the trialists in camp right now I have not seen play, secondly they almost certainly
not going to be on the roster. Akeem Adams, Tye Perdido, Kerry Baptiste and more; we've seen dozens
flow through Sounders training over the past few years.
Today's Tube of the Day features a Gorilla who walks like a Human. The Gorilla
was caught on Camera in Sydney's Taronga Zoo in Australia.
