In this continuing series of posts about the 2010 Soccer MVP Tournament, the 'Shooting' discipline
was won by the inside-of-the-foot. Besides being more accurate and capable of several different
types of shots, 'Inside' was able to generate almost as much power as the top-of-the-foot.

Apparently these are the best 50 World Cup goals ever and to be fair there are some right crackers

WorldCupBlog 21 January @ 01:00 AM EDT
ITV compiled this little gem of the 50 greatest goals in World Cup history a few years back,
which then made it to YouTube and then to our doorstep. Given that ITV is a proper media outlet,
this should be rather accurate. However, it's likely that there a few worthy omissions notably
those when television cameras weren't quite so abundant.

Captain Shows The Way 'IN'!
An average of 3.27 goals a game is something even the Invincibles
would have been proud of. Its sounds amazing right from the onset, but what makes this all the more
intriguing is the fact that the 55 goals we have scored this season, have come from the boots/heads
of no less than 17 players.

With the Ballon d'Or nominations finally releasing this weekend, the headlines have mostly been
devoted to the fact that world champions Italy have no representation whatsoever. But why blame the
press for paying excessive attention to an irrelevant detail? After all, the award itself is
destined to be heading Lionel Messi's way, which means very little is there to be talked about in
terms of debating the winner, right?

Patience is a virtue, and for two of the Premier League's best players, that patience has
finally paid off. The crazy thing about it all? These two players are on the same team! And the
lucky team is Sunderland.
It was just last season that Sunderland were in the heat of the relegation battle.

With the first quarter of football almost over in most leagues around Europe, now is a good time
to measure the current progress of some of the giant clubs on the continent. Actually, analyzing
the success or failure of clubs in general won't be nearly as exciting as identifying a more
specific object of analysis.

The title to this article might suggest that I am providing some late coverage on Arsenal
striker Nicklas Bendtner's recent car accident while driving to practice in his Aston Martin. In
reality, though, this article is written in vehement defense of the player, who has certainly had
more than his fair share of critics, to put it bluntly.

The past two nights at my different team sessions and group trainings I coached we have been
working on shooting. Ankle locked, toe down, knee over the ball, and land on your kicking
foot!

My Verdict
A solid game but we need to practice finishing at training within the week. Some really was poor
an I expect the likes of Arshavin, Rosicky and Fabregas top put al those away versus better teams;
in the premier league you won't get 24 chances in a game, that's for sure.

Given the title of this article, I could be about to tell you about how the strike duo of Darren
Bent and Kenwyne Jones will be leading Sunderland to new heights in the Premier League this season,
but we will save that for a later date. I'd rather make a bold statement and talk about the bottom
of the table at the moment.

With yet another exciting Premier League weekend in the books it's time to review this weekend's
winners and losers.
Winners Robbie Keane
Robbie Keane emerges from this weekend as the biggest winner. The Tottenham striker has had a
relatively quiet start to the season, oftentimes playing second fiddle to the red hot Jermain
Defoe.
