Footballer and male model, Lance Parker, is obviously cool with posing in his underwear.
Coincidentally, we are too.
Since he seemed down for our interview games and uncontrollable flirting tactics, we decided to
spice up our Q&A style a bit.
The Talking Bull boys are back with their latest, greatest and 40th episode. This week, our own
Matt Conroy (aka Who Shot Sam) and Ben Schneider (of Once A Metro fame) discuss the Tim Ream
transfer, the signing of Conde, Pálsson and (re-signing of) Joel Lindpere and goalkeeping options.
Feliz Futbolitinos! We kick off this weekend's edition with Santos'
studs Ganso and Neymar who were the centerpiece of the
selecao's latest national team kit unveiling yesterday. You all know that
Pele signed up to be on this but they couldn't find the right goalkeeping outfit
which said "O perfeito" (The Perfect One) for him.
Don't give up the day job, Shaun It's easy to forget how far Manchester City have come in the last
couple of years. Back in 2009 they were toying with the idea of making Shaun Wright Phillips their
goalkeeper. But the diminutive winger's fledgling career between the sticks was brought to a
premature end when [.
The African Cup of Nations just wouldn't be the African Cup of Nations without some questionable
goalkeeping, and Zambia keeper Kennedy Mweene was first of the mark with this effort against
Senegal. Mweene raced off his line to claim a ball he didn't really need to get. Only after making
the catch did he pause [.
There are a number of questions that need to be aired over the English Premier League match between
Stoke City and West Bromwich Albion.
The game was settled by two goalkeeping errors from Stoke's man with a Squiggle, Thomas
Sorensen.
The man might be a Squiggly goalie...

Just when it looked like the U.S. men's national team was destined for another scoreless game, a
familiar face came up with the timeliest of goals.
Substitute Ricardo Clark powered home a header deep into stoppage time on Saturday night,
giving the United States a 1-0 victory over Venezuela at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale,
Arizona in its opening match of 2012.
Half-Term Analysis
So, we've reached the halfway stage of the season. The Reds sit in sixth place in the league and
have reached the semi-finals of the Carling Cup, but the story of the season so far is a case of
what might have been. We've lost three times, but have only been outplayed away at Spurs.
The Comets looked like they were going to give the Wichita Wings a leg back into the Turpike Trophy
competition between the two teams. Poor shooting and some good goalkeeping Sanaldo had the Comets
facing a 7-2 deficit heading into the fourth quarter, but 4 unanswered goals saw the Comets pull
out the 10-7 win taking a 3-0 lead in their series with the Wings.
Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish admits Blackburn striker Ayegbeni Yakubu poses a threat at Anfield
tomorrow, but is confident his in-form defence will keep the Nigerian quiet.
Rovers' summer signing from Everton has 10 Barclays Premier League goals - including four in one
match against Swansea three weeks ago - this season.
With the relegation of Colombian powerhouse America de Cali for the first time in the team's
84-year history, speculation was that Roger Torres' loan may finally turn into a permanent transfer
to the Philadelphia Union. Instead, it appears that Cali's fall could bring in a different player
to MLS and Philadelphia.
Good to see Liverpool register a home win again after three draws at Anfield, thanks to a Luis
Suarez header on 47 minutes.
It was a game where Liverpool threatened to run riot only for the goalkeeping of Chezney to keep it
at 1-0.
Kenny Dalglish said after the game that Liverpool played fantastic football but he would like to
see them score an awful lot more goals.
Jim(my Briand)'ll fix it Lyon progressed in the Champions League after a remarkable 1-7 win at
Dinamo Zagreb last night. The six-goal margin built up over a period of 30 minutes was just what
the French side needed to overhaul Ajax and pip them to qualification on goal difference. Needless
to say, Lyon's [.
A horror show from Arsenal goalkeepers Vito Mannone and Łukasz Fabiański condemned Arsenal to a
3-1 defeat to Olympiakos and proved once again that Arsene Wenger must sort out the team's
goalkeeping problems. Unbelievably bad, pitiful and far from reliable. How else can one describe
the current crop of Arsenal goalkeepers currently vying for Wojciech [.
Match report Video (via @arsenalist)
Sometimes, like against Manchester City in the Carling Cup, we see a performance from the second
string that lifts the spirits and gives us hope and encouragement for the future. And sometimes we
get performances like last night which reflect little more than why these players are part of the
second string.
Newcastle's superb start to the season has been down to their organized back four and the
goalkeeping of Tim Krul. Well, that's all about to change. Alan Pardew's European hopes have
suffered a major blow as CB Steven Taylor has ... Continue reading →
Manchester City secured a place in the semi-finals of the Carling Cup as Sergio Aguero
punished Arsenal on the break to give Roberto Mancini's side a 1-0 win at Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal, protecting an unbeaten home record against City that stretched for 36 years and
encompassed 28 games, were the superior side in a contest between two much-changed teams, but after
being denied by some superb goalkeeping from Costel Pantilimon were undone by a ruthless finish
from Aguero after 83 minutes.
Last week, in the wake of England's heroic (cough) win against Spain at Wembley in what can only
be described as the friendly international to end all friendly internationals, we took a look at a
few matches from their past in which the national team had managed to pluck a result from somewhere
against a decent team, but failed to capitalise upon it.

Feliz viernes! The Spanish National Team finally unveiled their
FIERY Euro 2012 camisetas nuevas in Las Rozas, Madrid a few
hours ago. The red tones have been dramatically emphasized to match the country's national colours
while the blue stripes on the sleeves from last season have also been removed.
Football Team of the Decade: 1960s - originally posted on Soccerlens.com
The 1960s just might be football's golden decade. George Best, Garrincha, Pele in his prime and
much much more. Recently on the Total Soccer Show podcast, we picked our starting XI from the
1960s. None of of us were alive back then, but thanks to television, YouTube and brilliant books
like Jonathan Wilson's Inverting the Pyramid, we were able to weigh the various options at
each position and argue out the perfect starting XI to represent 10 of the most glorious years in
the history of the beautiful game.
Oh Dear! Twiggster's Birthday double header hopes turned into a Halloween Horror Show, this
week!
Just one point from six and a massive blow to our promotion hopes. Ghoulish goalkeeping saw
Leeds limp out of the play-off places after hoovering humiliation at home! Gruesome game
reviews
and post games Grayson grovelling, means this show isn't very happy.
The First Leg Was Feisty. Don't Expect Anything Different Tonight. (Photo by Dan
Dickinson)The 2011 New York Red Bulls have to be accustomed to "must-win" games by now. They
certainly faced enough of them during the final weeks of the MLS regular season. Yet each time fans
expected the team to plunge over the precipice they somehow found a way to keep their postseason
hopes alive.

You may remember us telling you all about Odd Grenland midfielder Jone Samuelson a month or so
ago, i.e, the Nordic chap that headed home from his own half to set the world record at 57.3 metres
well forget that chump!
The world of steel-necked goalscorers has a new hero, namely Fagiano Okayama (of the J League)
defender Ryujiro Ueda who notched the only goal of ther game with his bonce from a mammoth 58.
Terry testing to see if the ground is soft enough for a tumble
There are ways to make this piece an epic one. Considering the result, it would not be too hard
to do that but also because of the result, there's no need for any of that. The 5-3 drubbing we
dished out to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge should take all the headlines and praises.
With the Seattle Sounders beginning their playoff run in the final season of U.S. goalkeeping
legend Kasey Keller, we decided to take a look back at one of the most interesting video features
we have done in the past with Kasey - a visit to his castle. And not a proverbial 'castle' - it's a
castle.
Prior to the 2006 FIFA World Cup, Keller played for Borussia Moenchengladbach in the German
Bundesliga.
Spanish Supermodel of the World... is that YOU?! Well, you were close.
It's Barcelona goalkeeper, Victor Valdes, getting hot (and probably cold, from
the rain!) with his SuperGuapa wife, Yolanda Cardona in a recent fashion editorial
for 'DTLux'.
Sonny Silooy was a terrific footballer who climbed to the pinnacle of world
soccer with AFC Ajax and the Dutch National Team (that's him with Edgar Davids in the 1996 UEFA
Champions League Final). He also broke my finger on Tuesday. Well maybe, as the fallout from this
most recent debacle has yet to be determined.

All this week, PSP will be breaking down the Philadelphia Union/Houston Dynamo playoff
matchup. PSP's roving correspondent Adam Cann lays out the big questions and Eli Pearlman-Storch
answers them. First up, we compare the goalkeeping of the second and third best teams in the
Eastern Conference.

Union
Danny Mwanga is back and healthy for the playoffs. Nice timing, Danny!
The Shin Guardian gives the Union 7 to 1 odds at winning the MLS Cup. That puts the Union as
the 4th most likely team to win, behind Seattle, LA and Real Salt Lake.
Manchester vs. Manchester: The derby goes beyond a City being far from United
The scarf vs. the ‘sir'. An enigmatic Italian vs. a hot tempered, highly talented English
talisman. A young, earnest Mexican vs. an Argentine taking the Premier League by storm.
Well, thank heaven that's over with.
Chivas USA finished their season the way they had lived it with a static back four that gave
goalkeeper Dan Kennedy kittens against a Seattle Sounders team that was looking to settle in at a
stadium they hope to see a lot of in the next 30 days.
This was horrific "The Walking Dead" stuff and whatever Kennedy screamed at his defense during
this one was insufficient.

HARRISON, N.J. -- Jurgen Klinsmann's coaching staff is slowly starting to take form.
After Martin Vasquez became entrenched as Klinsmann's second-in-command, the U.S. national team
manager announced the addition of Chris Woods as the goalkeeper coach.
Liverpool goalkeeping Legend Bruce Grobbelaar has been singing the praises of Kenny Dalglish, his
former teammate and manager. Photo: Andrew PageIn a recent interview with the official LFC site,
Grobbelaar gave his thoughts on how things changed at Anfield in the immediate aftermath of King

Manchester City joined Manchester United at the top of the Premier League table, beating Everton
in the day's early game, with Sir Alex Ferguson's men held to a 1-1 draw at Stoke City later
on.
Roberto Mancini's side put the pressure on as second half substitutes Mario Balotelli and James
Milner gave the blue half of Manchester a 2-0 win over a poor Everton side.
Rodgers With Another Huge Goal (Photo by Brandon Wade, Getty Images)The drought is finally

We are doubly blessed today with horrendous goalkeeping and some inexplicable box-clearing
non-skills when no skills but to watch the ball fly out for a goalkick are needed.
Unfortunately, no one saw fit to take in the joyous occasion and the stands were empty.
The display and this simple fact might be related.
