After a five week break I am back at GKP for what on paper should be a cracking tie in the FA Vase.
Both teams currently sit in the top six in the East Midlands Counties League (EMCL), and they
played each other at the end of August with Oadby running out 3-1 winners.
Week after week, planet football delivers magic moments that deserve a wider audience. Prior to the
invention of YouTube, those wonderous nuggets would have been lost in time, remembered only by
those brave souls who attend matches in the violence-blighted Argentinian Fourth Division. But not

A good old-fashioned five-goal thriller unfolded at Villa Park on Saturday, with the home side
coming out on top courtesy of their in-form forward line.

campaign.

Throughout the day, the QPR Report Messageboard has news updates,

Toronto FC defeated the Columbus Crew for the very first time in franchise history in a six-goal
thriller and were able to lift the Trillum Cup on Saturday night at Crew Stadium.
It was a back and forth game from the very start.
Tommy Heinemann reduced Toronto's lead to one in the 67th minute but the Crew were unable to
respond as Julian de Guzman netted a third goal in the 87th minute.

Despite the lack of winners and losers in the opening round of matches in the CAF Champions
League group stages this weekend there was still plenty to shout about. The CAF Confederation Cup,
Africa's second-tier competition, almost followed suit with two of this weekend's four matches
ending in a stalemate.
Seattle Sounders hold out for win against Colorado Rapids in 7 goal
thriller.
With all of the 0-0 draws in Major League Soccer it was nice to see a seven goal thriller at
CenturyLink Field. Seattle came from a goal down to beat the Rapids 4-3 in front of 36,424 fans.
With the win, the Sounders are now unbeaten in their last none league games registering six wins
and three draws.
