Almost eleven months ago, during a sunny week in South Florida, you could tell the 2009 MLS
Draft Class had the potential to be special.
During the rough days of the MLS Combine, even as player struggled with fitness and playing with
their new teammates, there was a sense that this year's crop of talent had the potential to provide
MLS with a serious infusion of talent.

Yes, that is a serious question. Two players who 'offer more than just goals' as strikers. But
how much more? Who would you rather have? Fortunately a member of the Football365 Forum (lol tb x)
has done the analysis for us. Read on to see who comes out on top...
A comparison of their goals and assists since Tevez came here:
This is obviously an area where Tevez should win by a margin having played with some of the best
players in the world.

The Chicago Fire and Real Salt Lake are probably not the teams most observers would have pegged
to be playing for the Eastern Conference title and berth in MLS Cup, but these two teams earned
their places in the Final Four by virtue of strong first-round performances that should lead into a
memorable East Final on Saturday night (8pm, FSC).

It isn't my intention to steal the MMM's thunder but I figured I'd throw out a few observations
from my weekend of watching a pretty crazy amount of footie... 1. This is definitely the year where
forwards are re-establishing themselves as the league's goal-getters. In recent seasons we've
seen the ascent of CRon, Lamps, Gerrard, Ashley Young, and others among the league's top goal
scorers.

Raul
The forgotten man in Real Madrid's offensive rotation reminded La Liga fans that he is still
among the best goal scorers. With Cristiano Ronaldo out for a while it is Raul's time to shine
and prove once again in his career that he is as valuable as any player on the squad.

Last week I went on and on about how Sevilla is the most overlooked club in all of La Liga.Â
They have beaten among the best (Real Madrid) and going into last weekend they were among the
hottest clubs in all of the world. Well you can say that I gave Sevilla the dreaded curse as
well. The club's winning ways would come to an end last weekend with a loss to Deportivo La
Coruna.

Forwards are goal scorers. Forwards are our front line of attack, our main offensive players. If
the ball is between a forward and the goal or the goal line, forwards must be running to the ball -
all the way to the goal or to the goalkeeper. Forwards have to follow all shots. If another forward
has the ball, the first forward must move without the ball, along with the other forwards, to stay
one.

An injury time winner by veteran Martin Palermo kept Argentina's qualification hopes well and truly
alive. Argentina was cruising to a victory courtesy of a strike from Higuain but was stunned when
Peru equalised in the 89th minute but was saved by a goal from Palermo deep into injury time.

A great piece of Argentine football history was published by Clarin today.
Even though there have been countless numbers of Argentine players that have been goal scorers
in Europe, only one Argentine player has actually won the European Golden Boot.
So, who is the only Argentine player to win the European Golden Boot as top goal scorer in all
of Europe?

After such an emphatic attacking display against Blackburn, the question has come around, are we
REAL title contenders? Many people will suddenly sit up and take notice after another Premier
League victory in which we scored 6. However, are they getting ahead of themselves? I will look at
what we have put right from last season, what attributes might make us plausible title contenders,
and what still needs putting right.

Facing Chelsea at Stamford Bridge is never easy. But with Petr Cech suspended and with Liverpool's
knack for playing well against the London giants, I felt optimistic going into yesterday's match.
And with Liverpool dominating the first stretch of play, I felt a goal was inevitable and a win was
feasible.

Jonjon's view on Yesterday's game.
I had to talk about the game as I was about to burst inside..
That was magnificent, that performance showed many aspects of the new improved 2009-10

A while ago, I think it was Ave and me that talked about the fact that if we learned to finish
off our chances we dont need to worry about defending.

Yesterday's game gave Arsenal fans and the world an indication of what Arshavin and Rosicky
playing in tandem can do.
Both players are skilful, have plenty of tricks, great vision, an array of passing, are always
on the move and can shoot. It is a luxury to have one player like that, but to be fortunate to
have two is amazing.

Lionel Messi
It has been claimed many times by many different people, Messi is quite simply "the man" as we

the club can potentially win the treble two straight seasons even though it had never been done by
any La Liga squad ever before last season.

Funny how when you score all these stats come up. Anyways, TONS of stats from last night's game,
plenty of them have to do with Josh Wolff and his performance.
Josh Wolff's second goal last night, was the Wizards 600th in league play. KC is the 7th MLS team
to hit that mark. Wolff also scored the team's 400th goal back in 2005 against Colorado.

The Hull City Tigers have all the odds against them. This off-season they discovered that most
