Oh, Wolverhampton. When they're not passing off manual labor as a prize, they're trying to turn
their players into subzero ice people.
The club's physio and masseur took midfielders Michael Kightly and Dave Edwards (pictured above,
left) to a cryotherapy clinic earlier in the week. No, they weren't making plans to freeze their
bodies after they die so they can one day fight in Walt Disney's unfrozen superhuman zombie army,
they were actually there to freeze their living bodies at ungodly temperatures and all while
wearing nothing but underpants and gloves.

emotion. It was obvious that the season being over and missing the playoffs pained him. He speaks

Yesterday The Boss stated in the press that the player we are all desperate to see be given a
chance is ready to play. Yep, he says Ramsey has grown into a man and expects him to play 15 -20
games for the first team this season?? Well Arsene, he won't reach the target you have set him if
you don't play him will he?

Meet England's new Assistant Head Coach
Guardian Headline: "Ice hockey is crazy because it's a mix between boxing and other sports. The
referee has to stop the game all the time because each incident leads to a boxing match."
Fabio Capello: Okay, John Terry, when the opposing forward gets too close and, como se dice,
slashes you with a low stick near, your ah, the ah, loose parts, you will throw off your gloves and
skate up to him, and stop, and spray him with ice.

So almost without us (or me, anyway) even realizing it, we appear to possibly have a goalkeeping
controversy on our hands.
After Manuel Almunia went down a few games into the season with a "chest infection", and last
season's number two, Lukasz Fabianski, was also out with a long term injury, we had to hand the
gloves over to young Italian Vito Mannone.

Hello people, hope your enjoying your weekend thus far, and are anticipating a good win overÂ
Blackburn tomorrow. I think the team is performing well but we have to be consistent this season
which wasn't the case last season, to the point where we had so many 0-0 draws in a row it was
unbelievable.

Same opponents, different day. The
Colorado Rapids face another vital game tonight
against the San Jose Earthquakes, a team they played in California only this past Friday, somehow
escaping with a crucial point thanks to Conor Casey's 95th minute penalty.
That vital point after such a tough game will no doubt boost the Rapids as they seek to secure
three points against the basement team in the Western Conference and reach the long-discussed 40
point watershed.

Michel Vorm Maarten Stekelenburg trained without gloves on the billiard-like pitch of Hampden Park.
The goalie wanted to test his injured finger. Van Marwijk: "The chance that Stekelenburg will play
is really slim." This will mean that Michel Vorm will take over and he'll be part of the group of

OK, I'll admit I got just about every call wrong last year – although I did redeem myself
slightly by identifying Tony Mowbray the moment wee Gordon stepped away from Celtic. But like Yves
Makalambay I'm prepared to pull my gloves back on, hurl myself back into the fray and flirt with
yet another calamity.

Morning all,
it looks like the gloves are coming off and the relationships between our biggest shareholders
are going to be increasingly tested over the next little while.

Moshiri, after he was interviewed on Sportsweek on BBC 5 Live yesterday.

Kei Kamara, better known for pouting and starting fights than for putting the ball in the net,

Thankfully what he pulled out of his pants was a glove and not his.

That was the title of a letter to the editor in today's Evansville Courier Press, which was written
by Mark "WK" Murty in reference to Larry Collins. Collins is an institution in youth baseball here
in Evansville, and just recently had the Eastside Little League fields named in his honor.
Below is the letter than Murty wrote, and speaks volumes about what coaching is really about.

It seems some people find it hard to move on. We all acknowledge that sometimes, in a
relationship, both parties might have been at fault and, like adults, we say what we have to say,
and move on.
The relationship between clubs and players, players and managers and players and fans is not
that different in essence.

Today's training weather left little doubt what winter means in this part of the country. Starting
the session at 5:30 p.m., the first bag of equipment off the bus contained the jackets, hats and
gloves, and with good reason. Temperatures dipped into the mid 30's during the hour-long session,
which consisted of the usual pre-game work on team shape and re-starts.

Well it looks like those of us who thought there would be something positive coming in this
version of the Confederations Cup we're just wishful thinking. If you thought there would be at
least, maybe three points in the first two matches then I would say that I was thinking the same
thing.

Background: Well, I had to put one GK in my Hall of Fame inaugural class, and
no one (in my opinion) deserves it more than Mr. Kevin Hartman. Hartman has been in the league
since 1997, and the statistics he has put up since have been eye-popping. In short, there has been
no man more successful between the posts in MLS history than Hartman.

Despite an injury list that would be extremely worrying if the situation was repeated in South
Africa next year, we're going into the next two qualifiers in an extremely favourable position to
ensure automatic qualification. We should beat Kazakhstan on Saturday (4:00pm on Setanta,
highlights 10:00pm on ITV) and Andorra on Wednesday (7:45pm on ITV), but arguably the most
important game in the group is the one between Croatia and the Ukraine, which kicks off at 7:15pm
on Saturday: it's pretty safe to say that if Ukraine lose, they're unlikely to get to South Africa
next summer, leaving the Croats as the only obstacle to overcome.

Reading failed to win at home for the umpteenth time this year and went down to a resilient Bongo

complaints from Steve Coppell's men who were never really in contention until a late rally gave the
Blues some minor cause for concern.
