Could Celtic and Rangers meet again in the English Premier League, thus creating a British super league?
There was a report in the British press earlier this week in which the UK prime minister David Cameron is said to have expressed his desire for the Glasgow "Old Firm" of Celtic Football Club and Rangers Football Club to join the English Premier League (EPL).

Maurice Edu has found a new home and when he gets there he will see a familiar face.
The U.S. national team midfielder/defender has signed with English Premier League squad Stoke
City, agreeing to personal terms with the club on Saturday. He joins the Potters just as U.
When Rangers were relegated to the Third Division after their financial armageddon, two things
immediately became clear. Firstly Celtic were nailed on to win the Premier League, and Rangers the
same to win the Third Division. Whilst both might still happen, Rangers began their season with a
huge shock at Balmoor in Peterhead, a ground [.

It has been one roller coaster ride of a year for Maurice Edu.
The U.S. national team midfielder has seen his club team, Glasgow Rangers, fall into the
nightmarish reality of financial ruin, but he has also seen his national team stock rise as he has

Peterhead, Stirlingshire, Berwick, Elgin.

In the final installment of Stoppage Time International Football Blog's review of the
season nine leagues, ranging from Spain to Turkey and Scotland to Wales, are featured to complete
this 2011-12 round-up:
SCOTLAND
Scottish football has gone through some emotions in the past nine months as Glasgow
Celtic won their first league championship for four years whilst their arch rivals Glasgow
Rangers are facing a very different fight with the tax man as the club's very survival is at
stake.
Who will get their hands on the UEFA Champions League trophy tonight?
It may not be the "dream final" that the majority of the world's football fans had craved but
for tonight's UEFA Champions League final opponents, FC Bayern München and Chelsea FC, the
culmination of their own dream is so near.

Rangers have been declared bankrupt due to years of mismanagement. They consumed a hubristic

were left weak to the point of death.
With the International Transfer Window opening on Wednesday, New England made a handful of moves
